The costumed crimefighter of Gotham City. He leads a dual life as bachelor millionaire Bruce Wayne. Unlike most other Superheros, Batman has no super powers. Batman does have an unending trove of special gadgets used to combat crime and a Batcave with equipment that would make the folks from CSI envious.

He was Dick Grayson, Bruce Wayne's youthful ward. Taken in by the millionaire when his parents were killed. Robin follows in Batman's footsteps as a crime fighter.

Barbara Gordon, daughter of Commissioner Gordon, is a librarian by day and Batgirl when she needed to help Batman and Robin. She had her own apartment with a secret wall that hid her costume and Batcycle.

He answered the Batphone, dusted the Batcave and was the only person who knew the Batman and Robinís secret identity. On occasions he puts on the mask and stands in for Batman. He also was the only person to know the identity of Batgirl.

The police commissioner of Gotham City. He uses the red Batphone  to directly contact Batman. When Batman canít be reached by Batphone, he uses the Batsignal to shine Batmanís logo in the night sky.
