Flying Carpet

Lubor Fiedler

Description

See the description on the picture of the instructions in Additional Pictures below.

Comments

Flying Carpet is more of an optical illusion than a magic trick. The illusion is very strong and the carpet seems to float approximately six inches off of the ground. The illusion works best if the performer acts as if he is losing his balance. The trick comes with two pairs of 3D glasses but the exact same glasses can be purchased on the internet.

Pros

• The illusion is very strong
• It is from Tenyo’s most prolific outside contributors, Lubor Fiedler

Cons

• It is not really a magic trick and should have not been released as a T-numbered trick
• It is very large and difficult to carry and store

Prop Notes

The carpet is made of laminated cardboard as are the glasses. The black surface with the blue dots is made of cardboard with a felt like covering. You have to add the blue dots yourself. The bottom surface is a very large black cloth. The glasses are made of cardboard. You can get the exact glasses that Tenyo bundles with the trick using the link below but unfortunately there is a minimum order of 50 at 75¢ each ($37.50).

Performance Notes

The effect really works when you are convincing that you are off balance as you are flying.

Package Notes

This trick was only released in Japanese packaging. The package is very large.

Clear Surprise

Description

COMMENTS

Clear Surprise is my favorite of the 2012 tricks. I like to use it when gifting money to a young family member. It is a good trick on its own, but when you make real money appear out of nowhere that the child can keep, it becomes a great trick!

Miracle Coin Thru

Description

Comments

Miracle Coin Thru is nothing new as far as magic tricks are concerned. It is a well made prop. The look of the prop matches T-171 Merlin’s Coffer.
