Re: T-153 Diabolicus

Tried checking my purchase history but can't remember witch one it was. In any event it came from a private individual rather than a company, so I doubt whether it would be available again. Almost all of the samples that I got contained the pattern but some were closer than others.I think any of it ...

Re: T-153 Diabolicus

The strips are made of 2 different materials combined. Magnetic viewing film is available from K&J Magnetics online for $4.50 US per 4inX3in piece. The other material is vinyl magnetic strips with peel and stick on one side. This unfortunately will have to be acquired by sheer trial and error as I ca...

Re: T-153 Diabolicus

The magic strips that make this trick possible are easily made and all the required materials are available online. I had one that was damaged and repaired it, now it works better than new!

Wow! that is really cool. Brings back some memories for sure but I don't know if I have an extra four and a half grand lying around here anywhere. Maybe I'll make a $200 lowball offer!

Re: T-137 Bolted!

I have bolted but have never performed it for anyone because I am not impressed with the gimmick, not that its bad but takes some practice. Definitely not one of my faves from Tenyo. I have a similar trick that uses a padlock that is much more baffling and it is examinable afterwards,I've had it for ...

Re: T-167 Future Clock

I don't agree that there is no good presentation for this trick as its always been one of my favorites and also one of my most used Tenyos. Many of my personal favorite tricks revolve around time, watches and ordinary objects. This one fits right in to my routine and is easy to carry and perform. I w...

Re: T-173 Eye of the Idol

This is one of my favorite Tenyos to perform, because everyone is always amazed at seeing it. When I have friends over and show them several tricks its always this one that they ask for, "show us that Easter Island trick that you showed me the last time". There are many Tenyos that are clever but th...

Re: Silence

A lot of times this is exactly how I start a small act in a bar. I just walk in say my hellos to my buddies, order a beer and just sit there fiddling with a magical prop and pretty soon everyone is looking my way. Some of my Tenyo favorites that don't need words at all are Geometrick,Moons of Jupite...

Re: T-118 Sidetrack

Always wanted to get Side Track until I got to actually examine one, they are definitely fragile as far as magic tricks go. This is the kind of trick that you would be afraid to use too much for fear of wearing it out. I would only buy one if I found it for a reasonable price, and that is probably n...

4D surprise would have been perfect! But I didn't have it yet. Anyways, he was more interested in the high powered green lasers that I had just built at the time, as we were aiming them at fire balloons that we had set off and seeing how far away we could hit them with the lasers. It was an awesome ...

Re: T-114 Wonder Window

Im on my second one because I handed my first one out to be inspected and it was broken. But I do agree that this trick is not a real fooler. Most people realize how it operates, they just don't know how to trigger the mechanism and when you hand it out they attempt to force it to move and break it....

Very cool museum and those pictures are the best. Will be great for the kids to look back on as they grow up. Some of those pictures do remind me of some of the sidewalk art that I saw a few years ago in Central Park when we went to see Van Morrison there in the Big Apple. You had to stand in just th...

Re: T-114 Wonder Window

Not one of my favorite Tenyos, too gimmicky and fragile(I'm on my third one). Most people are amused by its cleverness but It's not really a fooler in my opinion. I have a much better glass penetration trick that is over 50 years old. Much harder to perform as it requires a lot of practice but all ar...

Was really disappointed in this tricks gimmick, I have a knife thru bill trick that uses a metal knife and has a MUCH better gimmick than this one but unfortunately it is Very old and needs to be rebuilt. Its on my very long to do list.

Re: WTF

As to the beer prices in London, don't feel to bad, was recently at a Hockey playoff game and spent $11.00 apiece for beers. Went with my little brother who was here on a visit from his home state of Florida and my best friend. Being the generous drunk that I am I volunteered to buy the first round,...

Are These Re-relised Tenyos or originals?

I have noticed lately several tenyo tricks for sale on Ebay that don't look to me like the old originals, one was Bird watcher,Which I purchased and the other which as of now is still for sale is Lucky Rabbit. These packages look oddly new, were these tricks not discontinued. Are they re-relised? Bey...

Performing in public

I just wanted to say that the very art of magic is in the hands of the performer, I for one am not the best at slight of hand or card manipulation but when I perform an illusion, I Practice Practice Practice in front of a mirror when you get to the point of fooling yourself in the mirror you are rea...

The Holy Grail of Tenyo on EBay now

There is a listing right now on EBay for a T-91 Doug Henning Floating Lady and it is claimed to be the holy grail of tenyo at a starting price of $599.00. It has a caricature of Doug instead of the normal little magician. My question is,Is this thing really that rare?
