Re: Alan Warner Magic

Alan Warner, now in his eighties, is sadly no longer taking any more orders - I wish him a peaceful and well earned retirement. Luckily for us in the magical community his fabulous magic lives on. If you're lucky enough to find any of his effects for sale, now's a great time to invest in them - you ...

Re: Magic Wagon - Houdini Block Escape

Really like Houdini Block Escape, but agree, looks rather 'plain', so decals are a fantastic solution. Found slight noise can be effectively masked by appearing to 'wriggle' the block free - resulting wood against wood clicking provides perfect distraction for that 'moment' in what's a perfect, beau...

Ninja Experiment sponge replacement

Re: Repair Ninja Experiment

Found a solution to the worn sponge problem. Removed sponge, modelled four balsa wood baton strips, attached stick-on soft brush draught excluder tape. A baton sticks to each side of slots with double-sided tape, brushes meet in the middle. Really pleased with the finished result, balsa colour compl...

Re: Magic Wagon - Chinese Lion Mystery

I received mine a couple of weeks ago. Great method, eye-catching props, minimal set up, easy to perform. All that's needed is some 'handling' practice and interesting presentation. It's something dramatically different, which should grab attention. Having said all that, this is not for me - blame i...
