Re: Optical Illusion Cards

I agree Richard that the video is lots of fun to watch and that the deck looks very cool and interesting. Perhaps what’s to come for the future of magic. We appear to be approaching the space age generation of magic. That deck, 3D Magic props, and so on... It seems that the deck is worthy of high pr...

Re: Optical Illusion Cards

You missed my point...

Some of the things in the trailer you cannot do. It was stated in the promo I received.

FYI...It’s called a disclaimer.

Re: Optical Illusion Cards

The demo was edited and you cannot do everything you see so that may explain the poor review. A bit of disappointment I suppose.

Re: Tenyo 2020

After watching the 5 demos a few more times, I now think that the only real fooler is 4D Cross. At this point, the only other one I like enough to want to perform it is Mystery Blade. The prop and method is interesting to me and I expect it to be a fun challenge to be able to perform it so it fools ...

Re: Tenyo 2020

Now that I have seen demos for all 5, I am certain that 4D Cross will be the runaway hit for 2020.

It appears to be a cut above the rest as they say. Many cuts actually... ;)

Re: Tenyo 2020

Perhaps all of them can fool many laymen but for me, the method for 3 of them was obvious when watching the demos. That is, for Miracle Fishing, Note A Bill, and Mystery Blade. Ultra Gravity Box and 4D Cross appear to be the best foolers, especially 4D Cross! If Mystery Blade was performed more care...

Re: Tenyo 2020

The 4D Cross Plus looks like a fantastic old fashioned set of plastic props Tenyo illusion. I am really looking forward to that one! A real fooler!! Actually, all but the Card on Rope (which I think has an obvious method) look great! Is this going to be the best Tenyo year in a long time? Looks like...

Re: Tenyo 2020

I agree with both Evan and Victor. Nice packaging indeed and I can’t speak for everyone but I will buy all of them. I still have the dedication to Tenyo thing and their releases are not expensive so no big investment to grab all of them. Fun to see what each one is all about! It won’t be long before...

Thanks for posting those Elliot.

I am still thinking that the three made of plastic are the most interesting and appealing of the lot.

Thank you for the interesting preview of the upcoming Tenyo stuff. From the look of the props alone it might be 4D Cross and the Mystery Blade for me.
I must agree with you Ralf! The plastic prop tricks.

Guess what I am working on? Give up? Getting rid of a stack of magic props I don’t need so I can make room for more. :D

Anyone want to help with my endeavor? :(

Welcome to this fun place Ralf!

Most of the magic you have mentioned is discussed here so this forum is right up your alley so to speak.

Have a good time!

Re: Tenyo Nightmare In Color

I believe this is the first time I have seen that performed and you did a fine job with it Victor! For decades, I have been performing the standard version of Professor’s Nightmare and that is my favorite go to rope trick. It fools them every time! Once again, you have provided the magic world with ...

May I suggest that it is best suited for Halloween performances or, with a sick mind and a bit of creativity, for an adult only show and you can guess how that would play out. :D

Rob...

Please don’t feel unlucky with your puzzle set. There is absolutely nothing wrong with having a unique set with its own special personality.

Your set is terrific! Enjoy it my friend.

Isn`t it like honey or glycerin? something slow moving
I think so but I would never need to replace that stuff because I don’t think I will ever perform that trick.

The Koornwinder Kar is so much better at doing that kind of thing IMHO.

Ever wonder what happens to that stuff if you leave your package sealed? I am thinking it will eventually become dried up and useless and need to be replaced.

Re: Mini Tangram Paradox

I am not certain that the issue of foolproof is a concern with these puzzles. First, it is a puzzle so more of a curiosity than a magic trick. I suggest that both the performer and the spectator should be fascinated by what takes place. Second, I am not aware of anyone saying that spectators ever fi...
