Re: I am Going to Share a Secret with You

So, can you also see 'something' when it is flat on the table? Also, when my camera 'flashes' (which is more like a tiny flash and then a big flash), all is revealed when spectators focus on the handkerchief. I tried it earlier under incandescent lighting. It's tough to see, but I can make out the ...

I tried working a bit on the handling today and I was worried the entire time. It's a neat piece of cloth, but man. It's a little frightening to work with.

Re: I am Going to Share a Secret with You

I just got Ghost Camera from Hitomi. I'm reading through this thread to see if I hav a new or an old one.

I can see where certain lighting could ruin the trick. I think it's new, but I'm not sure what I should be looking for. If the 'reveals' can be seen when it's on the table?

Re: Easter contest 2017 - Elevator Coins routine

Holy crap! Thank you! Both of you! Victor: I did not create a routine with the intention of winning either. David said he was trying to think of a routine and I went off of that. I found out about this contest later on. When he said in that I was 'in the running for a contest', my reaction was , 'co...

Re: Bicycle Elite Edition Playing Cards

I work with a decent amount of cards. Honestly, you can never go wrong with regular Bikes (depending on the climate. Humid heavy environments eat card up like crazy). The ad says 'superior handling out of the box'. I don't buy that. You will ALWAYS need the deck broken in for some magic applications...

Re: T-90 Elevator Coin

This has always been one of my favourites. It's so clever ... and gets great reactions. One of the improvements you can implement should you want to make your own version (the cups are the same as the ones used in other cups and balls effects by Tenyo) is making the tube examinable (as in show it e...

While I am familiar with the phrase 'it never hurts to ask'. There is also 'tact' and 'knowing your limits'. Asking for help with starting your Tenyo collection was one thing. And from what I understand, you did receive help on that front from people here. But now asking about giving discontinued an...

I can't believe I didn't comment on this yet. I thought I did. I actually did not. That makes me a ding-dong. Your presentation got me to actually look at Animation Frame analytically. Never really considered it in the past. This is a fantastic way to do everything. The cards look amazing as well. W...

Well. I've been married for 9 years. And it seems that everyone around us is either married or just past the proposal phase, unfortunately.

Well. For all intents and purposes, there's the Jeff McBride Mystery School. Which is like to do one day (the full-on stay there and learn course). If you really want to improve Magic presentation, I'd look up a book (more like a manual) called 'Boffo' by Christopher Thisse. That guy is all about th...

This is what Google Translate comes up with: I will show four types of cards with pictures of chocolate one by one. After picking one of them and remembering it, wrap the 4 sheets in the paper. If you strongly imagine the chocolate you choose, only the corners of that chocolate will be missing! Suc...

Re: Your favourite rare tenyo piece!

My collection, if you'd call it that, is very piddly. Mostly common stuff, little bit of discontinued stuff, and then 1 really rare item. Big Mac Cubio. This is by far my favorite performance piece in my inventory. Of the 3 McDonalds Tenyo promos, the Cubio is the only one without blatant McDonalds ...

I saw this on my Facebook feed as well.

The only thing I can visualize is a similar trick to the bite/restore Oreo cookie.

But since Tenyo likes to use card stock in their +1's, I'm not sure how this'll play out. I also tried looking for pictures and I have nothing.

I have also been a recipient of GTK, that I hope to repay one day. John is a stand up guy. He's constructed an amazing place for Tenyo fans to gather and an incredible (free) catalog of many of Tenyo's works.
