Re: Hello from Canada

Hi Simon, I do sell them but there are many collectors that request them so to make it fair to all collectors I normally sell them via auctions. I currently don't have any for sale, but if your interested in puzzles and puzzle boxes there's a good site for craftsman puzzles here http://www.puzzlepar...

Re: Hello from Canada

Many thanks Rob for the kind words. Thanks also for the extra links on my puzzle box! I am familiar with all of the sites and people you mentioned in your post. I also have been hooked on mechanical puzzles and have been collecting for several years. My collection keeps growing and I now fear I need...

Re: Hello from Canada

Many thanks! The third one is named Ferris' Box, and I was happy to win a jury first prize in the competition with that design in 2012.

Re: Silicon Spray for Hard-to-move Tenyo Tricks

I too would be wary of a silicone spray, what might be safer is wax. You could try to rub a candle or magicians wax on the surface that is sticking. A little unseen wax might be just enough to allow the parts to slide without damaging anything. You may want to test it first on a similar type of mate...

Re: Recreating Tenyo

Thanks for the kind words. Funny you should mention Mini-morphosis. I had a fellow magician that knew I was into woodworking ask me to create a wooden prototype of a magic effect he had created. We set up a meeting so he could show me the effect and after seeing his performance I was sorry to tell h...

Re: This one baffled me...

A YouTube subscriber from my channel asked me if I have this trick: Die Würfelkaskade - ZZM Promo: http://youtu.be/DfA_Az3hl0Y I don't have it, and 800 euro is a lot of money, but it does baffle me. Although it is more a puzzle than a magic trick. Is there anybody who has this one? And: wouldn't it...

Recreating Tenyo

Hi I enjoy wood working in my spare time and I thought I would attempt to make a nice collector version of a Tenyo effect. I choose Tenyo's Magical Door and decided to recreate the effect in exotic walnut. I choose this Tenyo piece because I felt my wood working skill level could achieve it and felt...

Hello from Canada

Hi I am new to the Tenyo forum and wanted to say hello. My name is Peter and I am 47 years old. I have been interested in magic since the age of 5 and have been casually reading the forum for over a year now and thought I would join. I am particularly interested in this forum because I enjoy the ing...
