Re: This looks very familiar!

Ooh...the price on Cubes and Tubes has doubled! I'm glad I purchased this effect when it was first listed a few months ago.

Re: Tenyo Elite

I don't care for this "Elite" version either. $250 for this piece is way over priced.

I just don't understand why Tenyo Elite keeps skipping over all the truly great Tenyo pieces. :?

Re: 2018 tenyo

I took a very close look at the Mental Bento box on the YouTube video and saw something in the design that I believe gave away the method. Hopefully spectators won't find it as peculiar as I did.
I find Mental Bento to be very similar to Psy Chip by Tricks Co, Ltd.

Re: 2018 tenyo

Though the "Smart Guillotine" does use a dollar bill, according to the description on the jpmagic blog, you can have the spectator insert their finger after demonstrating with the dollar bill.
I used Google Translate for the description.

Re: Color Changing Records

Hi Kirk, I just got also 2 types of the Tricks Co, version about 2 weeks ago. What a nice classic. But somehow the name is different. And I can make a picture if you would like to see them. Well Tricks Co. produced many kinds if this similar effect, Once I got also similar version like this one (Ch...

Re: Color Changing Records

Randy, I will be curious to see what you have. I have three Tricks Co. color changing record effects but each either changes the records from black to red or from black to red, green and yellow. The ones I own are: Trio Records Color Symphony Color Rhapsody (came with rings and records) None of them...

Color Changing Records

Does anyone know what this version of the Color Changing Records is called and where it can be purchased? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxa054Idsms The only version I can find is the one where three black records change to three different colors and then back to black. I really like the change fro...

Re: New MAGIRO book!

Well Rob, your review/description of the Magiro book got me really excited so I decided to make the purchase. I just received an email that the book had shipped. :D I will need to do the scanning and Google translation thing but it will all be worth it. I've had to translate a number of great effect...

Written Instructions a Thing of he Past?

With recent magic purchases over the last year and a half, I’ve noticed a trend toward written/printed instructions being replaced with access to online video instructions. Though I do like being able to see complex handlings in video format, I also like the written word and enjoy learning an effect...

Re: This one baffled me...

I bought Cubes And Tubes and the quality is top notch, you can drop the dice out without worrying about it coming apart because its made quite tight. I will make a quick video when I get a moment. That is good news. I just placed my order for one yesterday but I'm sure it will take several weeks to...

Re: This one baffled me...

So, has anyone purchased Cubes and Tubes and if so, what did you think? Is the quality of the piece good and does the die stay together without fear of it coming apart when you dump it out of the box?

Re: This one baffled me...

Even though I know the workings of this piece, I like it because of its different approach to the die penetration effect. Unfortunately, the shipping cost to the United States makes this a bit too expensive for me. If it ever comes available from a US magic retailer, I will purchase it. Since I alre...

Re: 2018 tenyo

I suppose you'd consider Card Surgery a card trick even though you're restoring a card instead of revealing what card a spectator chose by either free will or force. God bless, Jason Scott Irelan Actually, I don't think of Card Surgery as a card trick but a brilliant and clever restoration. I love ...

Re: Is this trick available?

What's the shipping cost for that Squeeze Play that's for sale? I may have to break down and get another set because I found some wooden coasters at Walmart for only 63 cents; and when I tried to do it, the squeeze effect was very weak. I wish Tenyo wouldn't discontinue perfectly good tricks. Squee...

I just opened my Needle Through Ribbon and I am very pleased with it as well! First, I was happy to see that it is somewhat smaller than I expected. I think of it as one of those tricks which appears to be more expensive than it is. By the way, it is indeed made in India. For those who find changes...
