Re: Wonderfull routine with Moons of Jupiter!!

Hi Rob! Remember the last time we were discussing Sidetrack and I mentioned one that does not use a cover? The effect I have in mind is similar to Magic Wagon but the method is the same with Sidetrack. The Magic Wagon method uses the Illusionarium principle. My method requires thick props. The props...

Re: Wonderfull routine with Moons of Jupiter!!

I like his version of Sidetrack. His method is brilliant.

It would have been better if he did not use a black background. The added effect that the middle part is transparent destroys the illusion. The original Sidetrack effect is good enough.

Re: Paul Harris Wanted

Both effects are very strong but requires rehearsal. Properly presented these effects seems like miracles. Letters appear at the backs of playing cards to form words or initials thought of by the spectators. It can be performed in any language as long as it uses the same letters as the English alpha...

Re: Specially Boxed Tenyo

These Fantasio products in Tenyo boxes are great. They make a very nice addition to any Tenyo collection. Sometimes I like the Tenyo packaging more than the trick itself.

Re: Tenyo Goldfish Trick

Yes Victor, you can do the Twin Dice Towers with these props. The method may be very simple but most often it is the simple method that fools people. I think your spectators will more likely want to examine these props than the paper bag especially if you don't show the inside of the cover at the st...

Re: Tenyo Goldfish Trick

Nice vintage props, Victor. I think the original version of this trick is the Silk Cylinder. The goldfish trick is a version of this. Telesphere is a further improvement. Yes, the gimmicks are similar. Please search the Members Section of this forum for additional information. I do not have this tri...

Re: T-203 Salt Cups

I like the routine that comes with the trick. Unfortunately, Elliot is right, the prop is unreliable. Mine does not open and close properly. I perform this trick with the gimmick permanently open but the effect is greatly lessened.

Re: Selfmade Pencil without a middle

The illusion is great. I hope you won't mind if I make a suggestion. Why not make a front and back cover. The covers can simply be made of removable cardboard. To perform, insert the pen, remove the front cover, remove the back cover, and add the sponge balls. You can also have a different design on...

Re: Peter from the UK

Pete,

I overlooked the fact that you've been collecting magic for 40 years. Most magic collectors prefer rare pieces. Contact Botond because he has some reasonably priced rare items. Visit the sister website of this forum too and you might find what you are looking for.

Re: Peter from the UK

Welcome Pete!

If you are a new collector I suggest that you buy the cheaper ones instead of the expensive rare pieces unless the rare piece is a bargain. It's more fun to play with 20 cheap tricks than 3 rare tricks.

Re: Lubor Fiedlers Time Element Cylinders

I have one that uses the same method from Magic Hands of Germany. I wonder who invented this principle. The trick is a good one but cannot be repeated. Also, some Smart Alec may not put the object inside the container. I have not tried the trick yet because I have not found a suitable presentation.

Great trick! This is exactly what Henning Nelms in his book Magic and Showmanship wants us to do - make people care. This multiple out routine is much more interesting than when performed with ESP chips. Thanks for sharing, Victor.
