Re: T-200 Undercover Cube

Thanks, Brett! I appreciate you looking out for me. I found one for (thankfully) less than that. I wound up purchasing Eclipse from the same seller. Combined shipping is always a plus. :) I have a few ideas for the presentation, and I'll post them here once I've had a bit of time to play. Thanks aga...

Re: T-200 Undercover Cube

I think you could also do 'impossible location with the cube instead of using a cup, but I haven't weighed the pros and cons yet Granted, I don't yet have this, but your idea of cube to impossible location reminded me of David Regal's "Power of Love," from Approaching Magic. It would require a bit ...

Re: T-200 Undercover Cube

Thanks, David! I actually just found one from a US seller. Brand new and unopened, along with Eclipse. I have always been a fan of Harris's Twilight, so I'm looking forward to seeing how Tenyo re-invented it.

Re: T-200 Undercover Cube

Thanks, Brett! New or used is fine. I have one more lead that I am following up on, but I'll take all the help I can get.

You never "need" it until you have your mind set on it. :)

Thanks again!

Re: T-200 Undercover Cube

Bummer! The person I purchased mine from realized that he had already committed to another buyer. Hmmmm.....

I don't suppose anyone here has an extra that they are interested in selling (??).

Re: DR Group magic

The actual name is DP Group. Perhaps the "R" was throwing off your search. They are long gone, but you can still find a couple of their items.

Re: T-200 Undercover Cube

I just found one of these, and I'm looking forward to receiving/playing around with it. I agree with Brett that a good presentation will require you to go beyond the instructions to come up with something unique. Frankly, that is what I enjoy most about collecting Tenyo.

Re: A Good Day for Me!

Thanks, everyone! I appreciate the well wishes! I've been playing around with Bare Bones today and it really is terrific. I'll work my way on, into Mobile Illusion this weekend. I've already had a look at John's enhancement, and I will absolutely be requesting a set of cards from him (not to mention...

A Good Day for Me!

I've been on the road this week, and came home (exhausted) to find a package containing my purchases of Pop-Up Card (T-184), Mobile Illusion (T-210), and Bare Bones (T-133). I also found out that I won an eBay auction for Blue Crystal for a mere $26 (with free shipping).

Yay me! :D

Re: Tenyoism Deluxe Edition

Thanks, Victor!

I should have figured that there was already something about this in the hidden section that I wasn't yet aware of. Sooner of later I'll get there. I've been spending some time organizing my collection so that I'll be better prepared to contribute to the forum.

More to follow... ;)

Tenyoism Deluxe Edition

Hopefully I chose the correct area to post this in. I don't know how many of you purchased the deluxe edition of Richard Kaufman's beautiful new books, but I thought that some of you might appreciate seeing the letter that was included with the Deluxe edition. It outlines the special items that are ...

Re: Greetings from Seattle!

Evans, really interesting story. Thanks...you must have a very good relationship with the japanese magicians. Really nice. By the way if I may ask, Richard also wrote another book together with Steve Cohen "Japan Ingenious" , New Magic of Japan 1988 and The Amazing Miracles of Shigeo Takagi. Are th...

Re: Greetings from Seattle!

Thanks for the warm welcome! Victor, The demos in the link you posted were done by Charles Hsu. In some way I think he was partially responsible for building enough new interest in the magic of Japan to warrant a reprinting of two of the Kaufman books. I worked with Charles on a follow up to the vid...

Greetings from Seattle!

Hi everyone! My name is Evan Shuster, and by day I’m an executive manager with a large, global foodservice organization. The Genii in my Tenyo bottle recently escaped again, mostly due to The Head Genii’s exceptional publication of Tenyoism. I had a modest collection that has recently grown quite a ...
