Re: Ultimate Block Penetration - Magic Wagon

Olaf, there is also a very similar trick very clearly inspired by MWs version, it's Block Penetration by Sunil Batra. I bought it out of curiosity, it's only 59,50 €, and it's not bad at all. I find it somewhat easier to perform, I also made a video of it, and there's only one item to be ditched. B...

Re: Magic Wagon's The Magic Gemstone & Hieroglyphic Spells

" Aren't you guys mixing up the verb decipher and the magic trick die-cipher" I also did not understand this hint, however it does not keep me from further considerations The Cipher II is a fantastic jewel, but I would recommend the stainless steel version, as there are traces that are more likely ...

Re: MAGIC WAGON

I like it. Extremely easy to do (even the switch is easy because MW added a litle something in their routine that makes it easy), and it looks good (not great), works great and is something special. It can be done for several spectators, each with their die - you of course know the outcome. For me ...

Re: Ultimate Block Penetration - Magic Wagon

I really, really love this new Magic Wagon. Easy to do, and IF you want to make it examinable just ditch the dirty stuff out with cover of your little suitcase, jacket or whatever - shouldn't be THAT much of a problem :) Well, i noticed that in all the YT video presentations and i must say this is ...

When I took a closer look at this trick I noticed that no normal playing cards can be used, but mini playing cards are used, is that right ? And the flat backside is not exactly a feast for the eyes either

Totally agree with you Olaf! You pay for craftmanship, not for cleverness. Here on the forum are a lot of well informed members. It can save you money and disappoint, ent! I find that a little too many tricks are produced with small and big boxes. I would wish Magic Wagon would invest a little more ...

Re: Magic Wagon's The Magic Gemstone & Hieroglyphic Spells

The Magic Gemstone & Hieroglyphic Spells works nothing like decipher, it has more in common with Penetration 360, a set pattern to insert the rods. Thanks for the hint, i have think about it and watched Rob's video over and over and have a clue but i am not 100% sure if this is the solution ;-) do ...

Re: Magic Wagon's The Magic Gemstone & Hieroglyphic Spells

But it remains necessary to use finger work in the bottom to let the magic happen. From the posted articles I have found out that this trick principle is not very difficult to decipher, but I am still standing on the water hose at the moment. The hints with the finger work and that not all rods can...

Hello from Germany

Hello, my Name is Olaf and I am from the high north of Germany. My first contact with Magic was at the age of 8 in a skiing holiday with my parents in Austria. The hotel owner was a member of a magical circle and knocked a coin through the table in front of my eyes, which surprised and fascinated me...

Re: Magic Wagon Majestic Homing Die

My idea is: - three dice in Homing Die, one is taken - with this die, Die Penetration is performed (yes, if you own Hydro Die you can use the same die for all three effects :) ) - after that, the same die is vanished with Hydro Die - and is then found back in the Homing Die box :P Your given routin...

Re: Magic Wagon Triple Dice Vision now available

I don't think the coloring of the dice was necessary, it just makes it one more thing for the magician to remember. I think you can get a peak at the bottom without too much suspicion because the box fits in your hand and the peak would be covered by the lower fingers. For sure it will take some pr...

Re: Magic Wagon "Adinkra Necklace"

Recently there was a very cheap offer on ebay, I was really tempted to offer, but for an unknown reason I didn't do it. Afterwards I regretted it, because the trick was sold really cheap and for this price I would have taken it too, even if the trick is supposed to be quite simple.

Re: Magic Wagon Z-frame

Does it do anything a Sidetrack doesn't? You can put a signed sticker on the jumbo card in Sidetrack in the same place as with the card shown for Z Frame.Sidetrack is nice because the frame in which the jumbo card is held is no larger than the card: it fills it completely. This version from Magic W...

I keep coming back to this trick it looks really cool, I wasn't sure about the bright colours at first but I think when you open it up for the first time it must have a really visual impact for the spectator. For me this looks great :-) a lot is going on here with copper and colors and symbols ;-) ...

Doug, yes, the Monarch Prediction Chest is a great piece of craftmanship, but basically it is not the mechanical marvel YOU would expect I'm afraid... You still must manually do something and keep it in your hands. The handling is pretty straighforward. Well, i would like to know the working of thi...

@Olaf S: The trick you linked to there is a different trick, even if it has the common element of something being penetrated through glass (or acrylic/plexiglas). I have also made a 3D-printed version of the trick you linked to, but the post about it is in the closed section on this site, so until ...

I consider this version as more convincing: https://youtu.be/x8sOfodPmFU Yes - this i found also a very good version of this trick ... the square glass outer edges are a good additional confusion but I still find this improved version very successful and beautiful http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums...
