Re: Optical Illusions - Alive Museum

Awh thanks everyone. I do paint once in a while, but this image is a combination of Photography, and Photoshop. I have been into Photoshop since 1990. (pretty much the beginning) I have been a Photoshop instructor, a beta tester, and a perpetual student of this awesome software. I am a big fan of su...

Welcome ZX!

I am always motivated by Tenyo items to try to remember to think outside the box. They are always clever, and even beyond clever. It's very cool to communicate with other members who enjoy the same unique thought process.

Once again,
Welcome

Re: won my first Tenyo auction (about time!)

thanks David, now there's a great routine for it, I love the idea of a tower and sword. the tricky part is incorporating the fact that the coin flips over into the story. WHY is it flipping (HOW I'll never tell ;)) how about making it a guillotine and using the fact the coin has a head on it, behea...

Re: How on earth do I open this?

Here is MK 2. I decided to keep it in bare wood, and focus on tweaking any slight inaccuracies in my first attempt. I'm really happy with the final outcome, but I have a problem now.. what do I put in it?!! well I've decided to put... another puzzle box, in fact my aim is to fit two more inside. Th...

Re: New to Tenyo

Hello I recently became a collector of Tenyo and now its become a bit of an obsession I'm in no way a magician but love learning and improving the handling side of magic. My family and friends think I've spent to much money on this collection so best they never find out the truth. Welcome Simon, Wi...

Re: T-230 Mystic Scope

SUGGESTION USING EQUIVOQUE: When arriving at the point where there are two cards left, (as in the video) one might say to the spectator "I am going to ask you to make a very important decision, please place your forefinger on one of the cards, and push it slightly forward."If it's the "hit" card, co...

Re: T-230 Mystic Scope

Thank you very much. Brett you flicked a domino over asking if you can use your own cards in Mystic Scope! Here is the video, what you see is one outcome performed on my wife. I asked her to make free choices and the end result came out as you see it. Needless to say there are 16 possible outcomes,...

Those smiles, and sense of wonder, is what Magic is all about. I bet if it had been the Fun-Stuff-Only crowd in that room, we would all given a quick "wink" to each other.

Re: This one baffled me...

After looking at the video, I observe a few things: 1) The handkerchief seems to be 12 inches (not large, not small) 2) once hanky covers hand I see the forearm muscles move. 3) From 1:21 to 1:37 the move is occurring. 4) At 1:34 the hand repositions itself. (From knuckles up (palm slightly down) to...

Re: This one baffled me...

Simon, it seems to me that this trick would look even more baffling if the three curled fingers had been purposely pointed upwards and away from the thumb and forefinger. (As in making an "OK" sign)

Then under cover, the fingers would curl in to do the deed.

Re: This one baffled me...

I believe that Simon nailed it.

I just tried that solution with an extra dowel and it works flawlessly.

If you don't have a dowel, pick up one of your "Flash drives," and you will see how easy it is to drop, and retrieve it with the thumb and forefinger.
