Re: FIRST GLANCE AT 2014 TENYO MAGIC TRICKS

I tend to partially agree with you Peter - I've been thinking on adjusting the reviews on my website for a few days now. I've played with the effects for some time now and 4D-printer could have been made much better. The fact you have to add weight to the base was something Tenyo could have provided...

Re: Powerball 60

Nice routine but this is one that is included in every magic set I ever purchased. I have older variations with playing cards printed on the cards, cards with numbers (basic principle) and there even is an effect where the cards are transparant and the chosen number reveals itself in a special way. ...

Re: FIRST GLANCE AT 2014 TENYO MAGIC TRICKS

I too like this pocket version more then Tenyo's parlor version. It just makes more sense and looks less suspicious. Do you guys think it works in the same way?
It should be possible to make one your own.

Re: T-175 The Unusual Suspects

This is an effect that is often overlooked but I love it. It is so easy to do and you can really focus on the story. It takes the well known principle of the stripped deck to a new level. The trick was new for 1996, a year after the great movie the Usual Suspects came out - no surprise :) This offer...

Re: Magic on TV

I have seen several versions of this Rubik cube trick on the market.....I have never got one.......which is the best one in your opinion? No idea. I once saw it demonstrated in a magic shop and the shop owner was a bit clumsy and I could see the gimmick - he even showed me the gimmick afterwards an...

Re: Just arrived from chile!

Hmmm are you sure the principle is the same Roberto? I didn't see the **** ? It looked more as if you were b****** the sarcophagus so Houdine can get through it ... .
The magic set does look cool - it is still for sale I believe. Is it worth it?

Re: Magic on TV

Tommy Cooper ... how could I forget about him! I own three DVD's with his shows - absolutely great. He's very underestimated as a magician. Such a shame he completely lost himself in alcohol and he's no longer with us anymore.

Re: FIRST GLANCE AT 2014 TENYO MAGIC TRICKS

Hocus Pocus has put up what looks like the official Tenyo videos: http://www.hocus-pocus.com/magicshop/main.cfm?cat_choice=0271 They also state that Money Shock comes with gimmicks for both US $10 bills and 10 Euro notes. That would be great! Customizing the gimmick isn't that hard I believe but it...

Re: Magic on TV

Interesting subject - who is your favourite tv-magician. For me they are Paul Daniels and Doug Henning when they perform close-up. It's often funny, it' s cute, it is performed so well and smooth and you're sucked into the whole routine/story. Here are two examples: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OU...

Izzy, I don't own Extreme Burn so I can't compare. I'll look at a video of it and try to figure out if it works the same way ... . First thoughts of the tricks, but I only opened them, looked at them and read the instructions! - MRI: best tricks in years - extremely smart gimmick, impossible to figu...

Re: T-200 Undercover Cube

This is an effect I never actually performed, but I should give it a chance. I don't know for sure if it is possible but Petrick (& Mia) have released tricks (under their 'Signature Series') that also use a/the red cube which would make for a great routine. I think but am not sure it is exactly the ...

Welcome Jay! I played with Mini Morphosis only yesterday and had to try it several times before it worked. But there are some solutions which we will discuss in one of the upcoming threads in 'Focus On Tenyo' I'm sure. I believe a stronger neodium magnet may help. Nice website with cool videos by th...

Re: The Last Piece to the Puzzle

Thanks for the info John. Yes, I know you are a very reliable and honest person and that pays off in the end. You're selling a lot of discontinued stuff for far less they would go on auction sites which you know I'm sure. I remember your Good Karma post on the magic cafe and all the fuss around it. ...
