Simon, you could try setting up a VPN that routes through the US and then try watching it. That should work.

It might be blocked in the UK. The BBC's video player is blocked in the United States.

The method of using a window card and glide was created by Brother John Hamman in the 1960s and sold as a packet trick. Can't recall the name.

Tenyo's Number 1 Demonstrator on Japanese TV

A friend in Japan sent me this link to a video of Jindai Nishikawa, who is Tenyo's best-selling demonstrator. He works at the Tokyu Hands store in Nagoya. His part of the program, which lasts over 10 minutes, starts at 22:30. There's a commercial in the middle, but don't stop watching. http://video....

Re: chus version of great Tenyo trick!

The auction is missing half the prop. It seems perfectly natural that Chu's would just paste their own label over Tenyo's on the box.

Re: Two confirmed hints towards the 2016 releases

Why are you guys judging the tricks before you've even seen clear photos of them, or adequate explanations of the effects? Personally, I would wait until September when the videos of the demonstrations at the Tenyo Festival appear on the internet before passing judgment.

Re: Two confirmed hints towards the 2016 releases

For example, the specimen case made for "Magic Butterfly" is a utility item because it can switch many different things, as Simon has so beautifully demonstrated with his compass version.

Re: Two confirmed hints towards the 2016 releases

"Utility Item" has a wider definition in that while a particular prop may be designed to do only one trick, it in fact can be used for many other tricks.

Re: Magic Painting & Magic Memo Pad questions

Magic Painting is a juvenile trick, best done for kids. Magic Memo Pad is an excellent trick, and the gimmick is sized exactly for the pad that is supplied. The difficult in doing it comes because the pad tends to buckle between your thumb and fingers squeezing opposite sides while the same hand wor...

It's not just a "similar" trick AlexBrazil: it's a copy of Tenyo's original "Super Coin in Nest" made by Eddy's magic in China. Eddy manufactured the two sets for Criss Angel. They're excellent magic sets, as long as you don't mind supporting folks who steal ideas from Tenyo.

If you don't already have Tenyo's Coin through Match, then you should keep it. It's something you will perform regularly, and it locks and can be examined.

I think that inside the second puzzle box you should put a beautiful wooden version of Color Vision. It's a great trick, and there are many ways to do it without the box ever going out of sight.

Mira Metal is actually a fine trick. Works well and fools people. There's nothing spectacular about the method, bit it does play exactly as advertised.
