That was also immediately my first impression and the second was Ghost Card Frame by Mikame

An elegant wooden frame is displayed along with a regular playing card which is then inserted into a slot at the top. The doors are then opened showing a slit running across the middle of the frame. Now, a brass blade is shown and this is then pushed through the slit visibly cutting the card in half...

Proper handling, timing, and a good routine is the key to making this trick a real fooler.

I would say that with a normal examination nothing suspicious is to be found and the handling

is not particularly very difficult and can be carried out inconspicuously in a real presentation.

The effect is called “Perfect Migration” / Perfekte Wanderung I remember reading about this trick and thinking it sounded too good to be true Magiro’s magical thinking and design of his effects is nothing short of genius I agree, this is a very good example of his genius in developing great tricks

Kirk, you seem to be a lucky guy and browse many stores, all 3 novelties are great.

But the Kent piece is probably a rarity and the Magiro trick is also a rare pearl.

I also find that Magiro has produced very good and clever tricks.
