I am having the same problem on The Genii Forum and have had to stop taking new members. I have over 500 registrations that are impossible for me to wade through and increases every day.

Amano has cleverly turned Invisible Zone into a miniature version of the Blackstone Buzz Saw Illusion. Pretty Cool!

At the risk of stating the obvious: any guilt on your part, even if it lasts for only a second, is immediately picked up by most spectators.

Nice to meet you as well.
Magi-Fest is an enjoyable convention (not much Tenyo action). I personally have not experienced bad weather during Magi-Fest in years.
Every convention has a completely different character.

Yes, as soon as they sent it to me, the Rice Bowls became apparent.
While it does work like a Pea Can, the load chamber and the plug are of an identical color--it's much more sophisticated, water tight, etc.

Re: "Crystal Pyramid" - pirates version
The Tenyo version (normal release) is the green and yellow. The first release by Tenyo was at FISM, and the base is purple. The Magic Works version is different: the base is gray (like rock) and there is no pyramid (because the dumbells are afraid some child will poke his eye out). It's a flat-toppe...

Re: T-247 Tower of Dice
Practice is not just the "digtial" but also the psychological work you do to get comfortable with something. If you're not comfortable, it's likely you're feeling guilty about some particular moment.

Re: "Crystal Pyramid" - pirates version
Mr.C: if you read about "Crystal Pyramid" in Tenyoism (or watch Shimomura perform it on the video I shot) you will see how to do it without any odd noise.

If you think it's not "comfortable," that just means you have to learn how to do it. Practice, my friends, makes perfect. This fooled the hell out of me the first time I saw it.

I am not having any of these problems! But it may have something to do with the lower left corner and that map-thingy that is not functioning correctly.

You can find Amano's version, as well as a great version by Hase which combines it with the bulb from Ghost Lamp, in Tenyoism.

Re: Sugawara's Ring and Ribbon Back in Stock
Bob Little has nothing to do with Grant's "Swing a Ring." He claimed it was his idea and sold it to Tenyo. These are actually two completely different effects. You should not be close enough to a spectator when doing the Sugawara effect for that person to examine the ring. You perform the trick, put...

Re: Sugawara's Ring and Ribbon Back in Stock
Sugawara's trick is not an -under-the-spectator's-nose close-up effect, but it's certainly the most beautiful of any penetration of a ring off a ribbon or rope I've seen. You need to be at least two to three feet away. The Tenyo and Fantasma effects are both copies of UF Grant's "Swing a Ring." It's...

The few times I've done this trick for laypeople, about half the time they were suspicious of the case at the end. I managed this by using sleight of hand, but it put me off the trick.

Madison, are you the first person to do Bruno Hennig's Card in Box with a card case and a retracting folded card? I've seen the effect done with a card case, and other versions (the first, I think, might have been a bulldog clip) where the card quickly retracts. Is your handling the first that combi...

Not true, David. The other people will try to look at the screen on the phone because they think the spectator is seeing something different than they are.

Let the spectator take the photograph, that way he or she is not looking at the hanky directly (not through the camera).

He's hard to catch because he works at both The Magic Shop in Disneyland and the Arabian Bazaar in DisneySea. Also, he has days off, or days he has to work at the Tenyo office doing paperwork.
