Re: My favorite non-tenyo magic manufacturers

Hi David, Thanks for the reply. I too have the enchanted ring by Powell, and agree that it is a "must have." I had the aluminum version from Tannen's as a kid, but prefer the look of the wooden version. I saw the new Victorian Prediction and will probably buy it. Please let me know what you think wh...

The antikythera mechanism was used to calculate the movement of the planets and phases of the moon. It was lost in the ocean for nearly 2000 years before being discovered in a shipwrec...

Automata

John M. and I have discussed automata a few times, and I hope to build a simple automaton one day. I wanted to start a thread dedicated to automata and mechanical toys, things that may interest some of the same people who enjoy collecting Tenyo items. I just read the short book Antonio Diavolo: A So...

My name is John, and I live in NJ. I have been a fan of Tenyo for many years. I used to demo and sell Tenyo when I worked at a magic shop almost 20 years ago. I still have many of my original Tenyo items like Clean Cut and Mira Metal. I also collect some other magic items, but the majority of my col...
