Re: YES/NO coin

I actually like the size and look of the larger wooden case better. The laser etching really looks classy. For durability when making the micro version, you could make the outer slip case using a thin styrene plastic instead of cardboard. I believe these styrene sheets are commonly available in whit...

Re: Chain thru (Kreis)

The trick made by Johnson is called "Lightning Bolt." I checked their website but no longer see it listed. Here is the discription from Themagicwarehouse website (still for sale on their site for $27): " Here is a beautifully conceived illusion made from a solid bar of brass.A large nut and bolt are...

Re: Chain thru (Kreis)

In my last post I kept saying "bolt" when I meant to say "nut."
David, can the nut be unscrewed and shown with the chain still running through the center?
It is a great trick for those who may be interested.

Re: Chain thru (Kreis)

I have a version of this effect from Johnson Products which uses a different method. I also had a version made from wood which I believe I sold that used the same method as Kreis. the video is a bit deceiving as I don't believe the bolt can be unscrewed an left for immediate examination. You will no...

Just received my Dice Tower yesterday and absolutely love it! Best magic purchase I’ve made in a while. This is one of those tricks that you can’t stop playing with. I had the same joy when I first got my hands on Tenyo’s “Ninja Experiment.” This is simply a great piece to have in miniature. Thanks ...

Re: Hello from Nashville, TN

Hello VictorS,

I believe Tommy Emmanuel is one of the greatest living guitar players around. I've seen him perform many times at the annual Chet Atkins Appreciation Society convention here in Nashville.
Chet Atkins was also into magic. Most people didn't know this.

Re: This one baffled me...

Simon, Your dice tower looks incredible! What software and hardware do you use to design and build? I am new to the forum so if this has been discussed elsewhere, let me know so that I may read the posts. I hope to one day learn how to do this myself. I have built a few of my own ideas from stiff ca...
