Re: Melissa & Doug
I got my set from Toys R Us. They dont ship to the Philippines so I had my sister in the US buy it for me. I bought this magic set because Roberto's routine fooled me again. Roberto's videos are hazardous to my wallet.

The first time I saw the picture of this trick I immediately decided not to buy it because of the size of the frame. After reading David's review, I changed my mind.
I found this video after ordering the trick.

Re: Tenyo Magical Door
An easier way to switch the doors if you are seated is to use the Slydini Switch. The switch can be done with any object. It uses the table to cover the switch. The move is easy to do but requires practice to get the correct timing and coordination. It is explained in both Slydini sets of books by K...

Anyone have any problems with the spectator being able to pull the card out? That happens to me once in a while. Yes, it did happen to me but she was not able to discover the secret. It will happen if you let the spectator hold the case to long. The instructions states that as soon as the spectator...

I was very fortunate to meet Victor again. Despite his tight schedule he took time to watch our show and come to my house. He gave me a rare magic book that I have been searching for quite a while. Victor is not only very knowledgeable with all types of magic but is also skilled in sleight of hand. ...

Re: Performing Soft Coins 'wrong'
Hi Brett, Here is one routine that you can do. Perform the standard Soft Coin routine and have everthing examined. Return the coins inside your coin purse and as an afterthought offer to do the trick again. Remove the shell covered 'hole punched' coins from the purse. Since you run out of paper, you...

The Mickey Mouse Mirror Mate was built by Victor. It was a pleasure to meet him. He is an excellent craftsman. Almost all the tricks he showed me are props he built. He showed me 2 expensive Tenyo tricks that I thought were not worth it but I was proven wrong. I will not say which tricks because the...

Re: This one baffled me...
It is a very baffling trick indeed, the method is very clever. I think it is an old but not well known trick. Tora has a version of this trick but the Rubiks Cube in his set cannot be threaded on the wand at the start of the routine. The trick is explained in Tony Hassini's DVD Set on apparatus magi...

Re: First Information about the 2015 Tenyo Tricks
Hi to all! I just came back from a wonderful vacation in Korea. I attended FISM ASIA 2014 in Inchon and spent a few more days in Seoul. The convention was excellent. The stage and close-up contest acts were very good. The shows were great but I was not able to see them all. I was not also able to att...

Re: New Magic Wagon: The Four Elements
I do not know the manufacturer of the trick. I bought it from an estate. I do not even know the effect until I accidentally opened the gimmick. The trick is very easy to do but you need to hold box in order to make a peek. The opening and closing of the gimmick requires several seconds depending on ...

Thanks for the compliment Simon but I started solving it about 12am last night until 3.30am and resumed solving it this afternoon (my time zone). It took me more than 8 hrs to solve the problem and I was just lucky to guess the solution. It's a nice puzzle and will have many clever applications. TAD...

Re: New Magic Wagon: The Four Elements
this looks cool, MW is just way out of my league. are the chips all the same thickness? I think so. I have a similar trick made of plastic. It has no instructions and I was able to guess the method after 3 months. I do not know the effect and was not sure if it is a magic trick or just a holder for...
