PRINTABLES

Post by SimonC » Wed Aug 07, 2013 2:53 am

Hello all, I've started this new thread as somewhere to share printable ideas for our tricks or just something which looks pretty cool. with the wonder of modern technology we can all print out the same thing no matter where in the world we are and it's instant and pretty much free.
So I'm going to start the ball rolling with some cold hard (and sadly very small) cash!
Those of you who own 'mind roulette' one adaptation I made was to make a tiny stack of $20 bills to place on the chosen card, everyone loves handling money.
So print out this file (you may want to scale it depending on your computer) and carefully cut the bills out.
Leave the long edge where the front and back join so you can fold along it when gluing, this gives better accuracy.
Richard made a really cool tiny paper bank band to wrap round it.
When you print, don't worry about the quality of the paper, the nice thing about this is it doesn't want to be super glossy.
So there you go, i just gave you all $240, you just have to find some borrowers to buy something from.

I have a couple of PRINTABLE Cards you can use during your Mind Scanner Performance on my website.

You can see them at the bottom of this page.

Hi guys. Yesterday I put together the following mod for vanishing point..

To go along with the theme of VP being a 'grand illusion' scaled down, I've remade the card components to strengthen this concept. You'll find on the following printable..

Backstage Card to replace Black Folded card.
Red Curtain Card to replace Ten of Spades
Mini Magician Standee just for fun

Also I've added a Magicians Cage card which you can stick on a 4-D trunk. This means if you have a duplicate ball you can do the grand finale and reveal the ball from there (in the pic I have my trunk upside down so it looks less like a briefcase.)
The other option for a big reveal at the end is using pop-up card, this has the bonus of not requiring a duplicate ball. you could always scale up the cage graphic and add it to the envelope. when I use Pop-up card with VP I always say at the start 'and in this envelope is the grande finale'.

The file is a jpeg scaled for a4, but i do have a PowerPoint presentation if you want to play around with the sizes of things, I can email it to anyone who wants it.

Enjoy :)

Indeed, the pop-up card routine is called 'the hitler method' as its for people with only one ball.

If you can find a suitable bouncy ball that has the watch on it the effect looks really cool too, like you're making the world disappear.

Here is the template for the spooky dinosaurs that were staring at me on my desk.
If you print them on a4 card or paper it's pretty self explanatory how to fold and stick the base part. the head is a little trickier as it has to be 'inside out'.
it's a fun little curiosity, and a nice thing to have on your desk.
any problems making them give me a shout.

Have fun, it's tricky to get your head round at first but great once you get the hang of it.
And you have to shut one eye when you look at it ;)

good evening lady and gents :)
as some of us are starting to get our 2015 range through I thought I'd post the extra graphics I put together for magic butterfly.
I don't actually have mine yet so if I'm a little off with the sizes let me know and I can tweak them but the copies I printed worked well.
The RED butterfly is in the POPPIES
The YELLOW butterfly is in the DAISIES
The BLUE butterfly is in the MEADOW
The GREEN butterfly is in the FIELD
the box you may want to rescale to your needs.
just thought I'd give you lot a little Sunday cut and paste project :)
enjoy!
Si
(ps let me know if they're coming out low res and I'll try and re-upload tomorrow)
