I also own the original Bare Bones now, and I must say that the 'secret move' works much much better with Simon's wooden RIP tube than with Tenyos plastic one! It's a real pleasure to perform with!

Simon, do you still have any wooden tube to sell? I would be interested in buying one :-)

I'd be happy to make you one Alex :)
Just PM which one you'd prefer, the zig-zag lady or the coffin along with your address.
I will be back in my workshop on Monday and will get right on it.
Thanks!

Cheers mate :) let me know if you'd like one I'm making these to order. I could always make it say P.I.M.P. instead of R.I.P. ;)

I have just found a new variation of bare bones on ebay. They have just recreated it using disney olaf frozen.

Oh, I have that one and it will s fun. Unfortunately it did not work during my show in my daughter's birthday. There was a problem with the Olaf stickers. I thought I had fix it before, but the problem persisted.

As you might have read in this thread or the forum already, this is not exactly the same as the Original Bare Bones. The tube in Bare Bones has an extra hole in it so the blocks can flip over.

David DeTenyo ,
Thank you for your kindly reminder. I owned the winnie the pooh version only. Is this version same as the original bare bones or just the same with the Disney frozen one?

Bare Bones has never been remade the way it was once manufacturered, with the gimmicked tube. The reason for this might be that it was quite difficult to perform it 'right' so the cube turned over.
So all other versions (which are very easy to do) are the same, be it the Pooh Bear version, de Disney frozen version, the Mickey version etc. ... . They all contain 3 blocks, a shell and a regular tube :)

Bare Bones is absolutely ingenious to my opinion. I made my first video with a remade one and later a new remake with SimonC's beautiful wooden tube.
The other ones like Winnie the Pooh are more one-dimensional :)
