Tenyo Mentalism Pouch

Post by SimonC » Tue Nov 01, 2016 4:34 pm

Evening all :)
As stated in another thread, I have been planning on making a little tenyo mentalism set with this year's crop.
Here's my maxpedition mini with what I have so far. Ive not jammed it full like my EDC kit, it's intended to take out and perform with.
It has all four of this year's mentalism tricks plus a few plus-ones. The theme is mentalism whether it's me reading their mind, them exercising their psychic powers or playing with our mind's perceptions.
Here's a few pics, didn't get to road test at the weekend so will report back once I get a sec to go to the pub :)

Wow...looks very nice Simon !
I think there are more space for Grand Derby Prediction and Fortune Sticks.
Bird Watcher will be too tight in that pouch but maybe John`s Bird Brain and Think A Drink will fit.
Tenyo Scratch Card is also very good for special occasion. It packs flat and you have your black marker ready ;)

It's a bit too small for most of those! (I had to remake the magic square board to be slightly smaller!
Magic maze doesn't fit unfortunately but the other packet tricks will :)

I have SLAYED people with this pouch! I take it to my local and it's got a whole routine in there. Recently I had a evening where I think I only bought one drink :)

Simon`s pouch and it`s content is very powerful, if we practice and perform it seriously. It will become a 20-30 mins close up magic and mentalism act for a spec. I really need to work on this. Thanks again for the idea Simon !

Nice work putting that together Simon!

I have a small Victorinox carry thingy I bought around a dozen years ago which you have inspired me to fill with some Tenyo items like you have.

I used to load a card packet trick, two paddles, a few gimmicked coin effects, and a few other items in it but I like the Tenyo direction much better. Project time!

It has a zippered area, Velcro sealed sections, small pockets, and a shoulder strap. Very small and compact and may be handy for this purpose but some sections are too small for cards. I will see what happens...

As soon as I learn how to post photos here, I will show this thing.
It's a Tenyo day in the neighborhood!

Steve, the pic should not exceed 1 mb. So if you have bigger than 1 mb you should resize it first. The upload function will appear if you choose full editor. Not the one when you quick reply someone.
