New Jenzo Harmonics video

Post by SimonC » Sun Oct 27, 2013 5:20 pm

Hello chaps, I've just uploaded a new video here...
http://youtu.be/99f8-hNu7wo
It's my take on Coin Through Match.
It's a handmade version of the Tenyo classic with a little 'twist' at the end ;)
Enjoy :)

This is weird! Impossible! I am really baffled! Very nice presentation too, especially the spinning!
Where can I buy this? :-) Or get an illusion plan ;-)

Thanks john! Really glad you like it, I took your advice and took a bit more time getting the trick&routine right before posting. Hoping this sparks a bit of head-scratching on the forum ;)

Head scratching for sure. I have no idea, but don't put too much credence in that as I am usually not very good with figuring out tricks.

Very nice indeed! A excellent Tenyo-like twist to the standard Coin Thru Match. I have to admit I am stumped as well.

Uhmmm, is it me or isn't this a (BEAUTIFULL made!) replica of Coin Through Match but without the locking mechanism? The coin does fall through in a very convincing way however!
Excellent video by the way!

It's an homage to Coin Through Match, with a sneaky 'twist' at the end (the coin flips from heads to tails as it falls the last time)

Simon,

Let me know if you want the contact info for Tenyo. I think you have something here that they might be interested in. They said to send a video without a description so they can try and figure it out. Since the video is done you are ready to go. Plus they are probably getting ready to work on next years tricks.

Yeah, I was just gonna ask you about that. ;)

Overall this effect is amazing! Can't figure out the last part though. Which makes it even more interesting. I love it!

WOW!...fantastic design and very baffling end.....no idea about how you did that!

Also the use of a mirror as a background is very fair and makes it even more baffling!!

I just saw the video. It’s a great trick, fooled me. Nice craftsmanship of the prop too.
I think the effect could be enhanced if the design on the prop is changed to vertical lines to create an illusion that the space on the sides of the match is smaller than the coin.
