Hi Rob,
I love also the way he performed Fadeaway Case :

It is just like watching David Copperfield vanished the Liberty Statue on TV...but even better...without any curtain

Brilliant video and great perfomances
Re: japanmagic is always surprising
What confuse me, if he can vanish only the statue, why the helicopter was still there ? Did he make some modification on his Fadeaway case ?Roberto B. wrote:Agree....I don't know how he did it!!.......I have to take my Fadeaway Case out of my case to remember how it work.....vsuperanto wrote:Hi Rob,

Re: japanmagic is always surprising
I think the non-statue graphic is printed on clear acetate and placed up front so that when the white part of the film covers the pic that is inserted the rest if the pic remains
Now you see me...
Re: japanmagic is always surprising
Actually I take that back I know how is done...
There is the complete pic printed on white card, and the clear acetate with the missing statue pic laying over it (you can see on the right of the pic is the edge where they are joined)
When it is inserted, the clear part slides over and the pic slides under the rolling film, as the white portion comes into view the clear bit in front is still there. It's why there is still a 'shadow' of the statue visible through the white portion. It's a bit like those magic colouring paintings.
Very clever stuff as always from this guy WHY ARENT YOU ON THIS FORUM JAPANMAGIC?!

He was in your backyard mate. You should have kidnapped him, but he is such a good magician he would have escaped anyway. Oh we'll maybe someday he will grace us with his appearance here.

I've only just been able to play the London clip, I love it! Such a good idea to have a theme like that. Makes me miss the place though, I'm always itching to go back so if anyone's coming over let me know!

He sure does! But in some cases it would be pretty difficult to do the routines with a real life audience - the camera is very usefull

Re: japanmagic is always surprising
Agree with you David. Performing in front of the camera is big difference compare to performing in live audience, there's no take 2 or editing the video. Some videos on youtube are tricky and if you buy the magic tricks and perform in real life mostly you get disappointments...my experienced.David DeTenyo wrote:He sure does! But japanmagic is very creative on his videos...real good.
don't CHASE your dreams...rather COOK them...
Re: japanmagic is always surprising
I agree it's very good:)
I wonder if people on the streets stare at him when he is performing in front of the camera with small props
