over on ebay uk mac mac is selling crystal pyramid, it is not packaged in the blue aqua card nor the j numbered Japanese box, its in a clear lil box like the one funnel vision came in! I have never seen it in this type of package,just a heads up 4 you all.

I think what he is selling is a loose Tenyo that was packaged at the distributor/dealer.

For sure it is not one of a kind because the insert card was created for Crystal Pyramid just like it was for the other clear box tricks and that would be a lot of work for one trick.

You can notice that the card was not properly trimmed so that leads me to believe that it was done by the distributor and not by Tenyo.

I had a Eclipse that was uniquely packed in this manner. I sold it and have not regretted it.

I don't think the Crystal Pyramid is worth any more than the traditional package, in fact is is probably worth less because the card is not finished properly.

Once saw a purple Crystal Pyramid on eBay. Anyone else seen one or know what it is?

Yes, I have the purple one as well as the green. I think the green is a lot more prevalent then the purple.

What is rare and may be worth more money is the tricks that were sold (or given away, I am not sure) at FISM. They have a marking on the package. I believe that there was a FISM Crystal Pyramid and possibly a FISM Side Track.

I bought two Crystal Pyramids for $11.24 each, free worldwide postage
they came in clear plastic bags and the heading on the instructions are PHARAOHS' MYSTERY !the instructions are in English and Japanese (maybe Chinese) and they are an accurate guide.
They look and work perfect and I've compared them to pictures on Google, underneath it says made in China but I think that's right?
I have bought many Tenyo items from this well known site and never had a problem
I don't know if I can mention the website here but free worldwide postage is a big clue.
Are they sometimes called Pharaohs' Mystery ?
Where they normally made in China and can I mention the website.

Crystal Pyramid was made in Japan. You bought a Chinese knock off, and that's perfectly fine. I have a knock off too (bought several years ago, also made in China) and the locking system is not as good as in Tenyo's version, it's more 'loose'.

It may work good, but it is a rip-off of Tenyo. I have a similar rip-off Crystal Pyramid called, like yours, Pharaoh's Mystery. But I also have the original one from Tenyo.
So again, not bad, but it is fake!

I just looked for the trick at Topp Magic and it's sad they are not honest. They speak of an 'Asian version' but the manufacturer clearly sais 'Tenyo, which is a lie. Their description is also copied from a Tenyo fan-/website ... .

I totally agree on not buying copies of Tenyo, they tricked me at Top Magic but they wont do that twice as I will buy elsewhere in future.
I can understand individuals on EBay selling fake Tenyo as they might think its genuine but a website like Top Magic should know better !

I am so thrilled to have acquired this FISM 1994 purple version of the Crystal Pyramid. And, it works perfectly!
It didn’t come with any packaging or instructions but since I already had both the Tenyo green version and the Milton Bradley version, that didn’t matter to me.

I have a purple Crystal Pyramid in standard Aqua Card with Cello package so there may be purple ones that are not from FISM. I think "FISM" was printed on the Aqua Card.

I'm just happy to have the purple one...I like the color contrast with the yellow box. It doesn't really matter if this is a FISM piece or not since I have no intension of selling it.
