My pride and joy.....my coin coaster!

Post by bradtoulouse » Fri Dec 02, 2016 5:13 pm

Told you I'd get around to posting a pic of this....
Faithfully recreated from the two pictures in Tenyoism.....I submit for your consideration a working reproduction of the impossible to find T44 Coin Coaster....

thank you....
i used the directions from tenyoism as faithfully as i could.....it was hard to make out all the artwork but i think i got it pretty close....
i keep musing about making a second one.....it was a pain in the keister and incredibly time consuming....maybe at some point

What? Did you make did yourself??? Thought it was a coaster you bought in a souvenir shop :)

Really great... You did bake it in an oven? It looks like porcelain...

Wow...what a nice a beautiful creation Brad. The design and illusion is perfect to conceal the secret area. Did it work similar to other plastic coin coasters existed in the market ? I believe this version is much better and look more natural. Well it`s a beer mats. What can be more natural than that ! :) ;)

One of the challenges in making this was getting the flap tension correct. As per the instructions I used dental dam. Stretching and gluing it in place proved challenging and the work of someone who had eight hands would have been easier!

Victor, you really need to buy Tenyoism. :) It's fully described in there.
