Two Different Pokemon Magic Sets

I haven't seen this mentioned here, but I'm sure most of you have seen Tenyo's Pokemon set that's available for about $30 online.

This one, for example: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pokemon-Miracle ... SwImRYUTGl

Well, this is not the first version: the earlier version had the same tricks, but uses different characters for the tricks and has different artwork on the lid of the box.

Anyone else notice this?

Never noticed that before but I haven't really paid that much attention to the Pokemon tricks. Just never got into Pokemon much for some reason.

I guess this is the other version:

Another set that caught my eye is this Astro Boy Science Set:

Do you happen to know if Tenyo made any other Astro Boy items?

I have the Astro Boy science set: it's quite rare. Don't think they made any Astro Boy magic tricks, though.

Elliot, I didn't know about that blue set you linked to: it's yet a third variation and has a pair of boomerangs in it rather than the floating bill.

I was referring to this one: http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/llha ... 823116241/

Interesting. Looks like you've got another set for your collection. ;)

Yes, indeed.
But my collection of Tenyo magic sets is far from complete. Not even close.

I read a bit on Stereo's site regarding the Pokémon magic.

There's not much difference between the two boxed sets (one of them has 2 more tricks than the other).

Is the trick selection good? I'm thinking of getting one in the waaaaay distant future when my magic budget is good for it as I want to do a bunch of Pokémon themed magic.

I just want to know if the box set is worth getting for performance purposes or if it's just better off as a collectors piece.

It's only $20.
