Here you can talk about Tenyo subjects other than Performing and Collecting.

Illusion Truck. Why so expensive

Post by Brett H » Mon Feb 29, 2016 3:40 pm

Of all the Tenyo that have been released in the last several years, Illusion Truck has made quite a hefty jump in the second hand market--actually in virtually any magic shop you go to as well.

So here's my question: why does Illusion Truck cost so much damn money, co side ring it hasn't been released as long as other Tenyo?

The normal price of Illusion Truck is (anyway in Holland) EUR 34,50, so that is converted to US dollars about 40 dollar I believe.
Maybe that explains the high price. The price WAS already high! :)
Still for sale at magicshop.nl for, yes, 34,50 EUR, that's the normal price.

Yeah, I found a few US sellers that have one, but none of them have it for cheap. And there's one on Ebay from Tomtrix going for $60. Cheapest I have seen in...ever.

I thought about it for a while and my only guess is that there wasn't as many English version's made as there were Japanese versions made.

Then again, it doesn't seem like the type of trick where you would need the English version to make it work. IT's not like Magic Memo Pad :)
