Here you can talk about Tenyo subjects other than Performing and Collecting.

Tenyo Zig Zag Lady?

Post by Rob Rand » Mon Mar 31, 2014 6:36 am

Wolfgang Großkopf mentions in his book Meine Trickkreationen Teil 2 the following :

I have never seen a Zigzag version by Tenyo. Does it exist, or did Großkopf accidentally mixed up Tenyo with for instance Chu's Magic?

Ah, I thought so. Mr. Grosskopf must be mistaken for sure! :)

By the way, he did have a nice additional idea for this well-known zig zag-trick.

I will try to make this and post it.

Should you be posting descriptions of methods on a public magic forum? Regardless if the language it is irresponsible and an insult to the original inventor.

The picture is clearly revealing a key element of the trick.

I sent you a pm Lüf ;)

What Jamie wanted to point out is that is is very easy for someone to find an exposure of a trick. If someone wants to know how something works, a quick Google search will provide several explanations.

I'll leave it to Jamie to decide if his link was, perhaps, a bit 'over the top' and if he finds it (un)appropriate he can edit his post ;)

I am really very sorry Lüf, I believe you have a point. We must be careful with exposing secrets, so I have adapted my post, now without the exposing picture. Please keep in mind that we, are all really serious magic lovers!

i don't see something wrong with my post. this is an open forum sharing some ideas and to have some fun.
but even Hasbro (who own the rights to the Magic Works series) shares all of their manuals plus secrets on their website.

Luf, I think you may have come to the wrong place. We are a friendly bunch here and in your short time here you have been unnessasirily confrontational. We are a community of magicians and collectors who are happy to talk and discuss Tenyo and other magic. We re also very creative and have a lot of ideas which serve to compliment the tricks we all love, not 'insult' them.
If you have come here to argue I suggest you go elsewhere.

SimonC, or should I say 'JenzoH', I know all about your 'tributes' to Tenyo. I have many contacts within the company and believe me they are aware of you.
I have not come here for an argument, this place just seems to be populated by clumsy amateurs and I'm sorry but I don't suffer fools gladly.
And by the way your avatar is ridiculous, as is your spelling of 'unnecessarily'.

Luf Lirpa,

Please take a breath a slow down. I just logged on for the first time today and see that you are involved in many discussions in a confrontational way.

Maybe you should start with posting your profile in the Members Profile sections so we can learn more about you.

Not only am I happy with the way the forum is going but I believe that most if not all of our members are happy with it as well.

If you are not happy you can leave and start your own forum.

I am certainly happy with this forum.
Luf if you wish to remain here as something for us to all stare in amazement at feel free, your comments will end up like a broken air conditioner, just annoying noise that you get used to and eventually learn to ignore.

It is you who are being 'stared at'. Reading through the inane things posted around this waste of webspace has left me dumbfounded by the stupidity displayed. You call yourselves magicians yet you all talk absolute rubbish. I remain here merely to see how long this sorry mess remains online.
And please have the decency to spell my name correctly, It is Lüf not Luf.
