hooray they've just arrived on eBay from magico!
any thoughts on the prices, does anyone know any other shops (preferably Europe) that does them cheaper/combines postage?
they are
MB £12.50 + £3.75
GE £13.13 + £3.75
AOM £12.50 + £3.75
MS £10.63 +£3.75
total of £63.76

Zauberkellerhof.de 89 Euro for all 4 ex shipping. Pre-order.
But you get them way later than from Magico of course, on December.

If you contact Hitomi of Magico-Japan directly you can usually save about 5% from the ebay prices.

Anyone who wants her email can contact me via email (my PM box is always full).

Just received my Tenyo order from AmiAmi...all 4 items (49 Euros) but had to pay 31 Euros import tax...now that hurts.

Amiami responded saying they did not send me invoice because the big coin magic was not available yet.
So I said just the 4 is fine and they sent me the invoice. Shipping for me is around $15 USD

I'm playing with them as we speak. Expect a review on my website one of the following days. For now my favourite is the Butterfly trick. As someone mentioned before in this thread the quality of the dice thru mirror trick is so so. I was surprised with the gimmick of Alchemy, in a good way. Lubor's trick is very cool and ingenious.

I read your reviews and it's great seeing more in-depth reviews of the new tricks--and just Tenyo in general. It's great seeing the writing and perspective of others.

I'm finding it a bit crazy that The Great Escape was THE crowd favorite and it's starting to turn out to be the LEAST favorite from what I've been hearing. Also interesting on your take that it IS examinable--but to an extent. Especially considering the structure of it if you're really comfortable HAVING it be handled--I sure as hell wouldn't.

The thing that surprised me the most in your reviews was that the disk that comes with The Alchemist is PLASTIC, of all things. I don't know if John mentioned it, but it's the first time that it really got ingrained into my head.

'PLASTIC?!'

I'm going to try and head to the hardware store tomorrow and see if they have any metal disks or metal slugs as the same size as a $1 coin.

COULD you do the trick with a metal disk? Or would the weight or possible noise arouse suspicion?
Where's my colon?!

Thanks Brett. Yes, a metal disc would work fine.
It's important to know that I THINK (!) the disc is plastic - if it is metal it sure is VERY thin, it has no weight to it. I could check with a magnet but that won't work if it is Aluminium of course. As you might know you have to stick it to one side of a real coin and that is probably the resaon why Tenyo decided not to use metal.
