My Tenyo Collection!!!

Postby bradtoulouse » Sat Apr 08, 2017 2:57 pm

Hey fellahs (is there such a thing as a girl Tenyo collector!?)....

Thought it might be time for to "show off" my collection.....although "show off" is not really the best choice of words.

Years ago I decided to house my collection in a couple glass front bookcases. Great idea at the time....but now they are chock full and the collection is a bit on the cluttered side! Doesn't matter much to me but not the best for displaying it....

Of course who but another Tenyo-phile eally cares about a Tenyo collection?

Anyhoo....here are the pics! Enjoy! If you have any q's or comments please let me know!

Wicked :) nice they are glass fronted so you can see them. My collection looks similar (but smaller). It's looking very cramped in my magic cabinet now (in in Tenyo eye candy I think). I had to make an extra Shelf but I didn't have glass and had to try acrylic. It's sagging under the weight now!
Now you see me...

Very2 impressive Brad! Thanks for sharing this. When did you start to collect them ? And do you remember what was the very first magic trick or Tenyo that came into your collection? :) My very first magic prop i bought was color vision (similar to Tenyo dice vision) and rabbit in wallet was my first Tenyo i bought when I was 13 years old. Glad that i still keep it until today.

Pretty sure I was about 10 when I got my first two Tenyo's....Chinese sticks and silk serenade! And probably started collecting in earnest about 20 years ago!

That's a long journey Brad. Every single prop could have memorable value to you. Are you still looking for Tenyos that are missing in your collection? This community could probably can support you. By the way, did you store packaging and instructions separately ?
