Jaime, yes I did buy quite a few will post pictures after Tokyo trip, but none of them rare, I knew It would be cheaper here so I waited until this trip to get some items, like zig zag cig, dynamite coins, ghost lamp, mr rabbit and coin fan..etc. Could've gotten my burger, calendar and sneaker trick for $10 each but I paid $25 each...:(
Learned my lesson to be patient.

Thanks again for posting these wonderfull photo's Sius :)
A few more questions if you don't mind ... .Do those sellers/magicians at the boots speak English? Do they realize/know Tenyo has collectors looking for discontinued tricks?

Unfortunately they do not speak English... Not even a little bit...that's the hard part, I had to use my bf to interpret every single sentence.....
And yes they are aware that people are collecting and know what's rare cause they did ask me which rare ones I have and we discussed a little about it, that's why they said it's hard to find rare ones because there are many magic lovers and magicians here in Tokyo so auction would be my best bet!
Hope this helps David!

Siusiuc, Thanks for posting the great pictures. We can really get a feel for what it is like to shop for Tenyo in Japan. It looks like you are having a lot of fun. Are you planning to go to Tokyo Disneyland?

No I don't think so, since I already went to Disney Sea...:(
I will be leaving tomorrow back to Korea first and hopefully I can post some picture of tenyo in Haneda airport!
I know they have a corner there as well!

If you guys don't mind I would like to post a direct link from my website to this thread with perhaps a 'wee' litle info and a picture that you posted Sius (of course you (and the forum for that matter) will be credited) - that's how usefull and interesting I believe it is :)
Are you OK with that? It would surely attrackt new members too I think ... .

It's great to be appreciated!
If john is ok I'm ok:D
And... I use my iPhone 5s for all these pictures, but I have to resize it in order to post on this forum so the resolution isn't all that great. Is that how you guys do it as well?
Sorry for the fuzzy pictures

Not a problem with me. The way I look at it, you don't need to ask permission to LINK to content on another site. That is the main idea behind the WWW and why it grew so quickly.

David, I think it would be better to take the pictures to your site and write an article. Of course Siusiuc needs to approve that since she owns the rights to the pictures.

Your pictures look fine to me. The iphone 5s has a really good camera. The max size for uploaded pictures is 1 MB (1028K) which is very generous, I think on the Magic Cafe it is 50K which is 1/20th the size and it is almost impossible to make a good picture with such a low file size. I use a simple point and shoot camera (Canon Power Shot SD1200IS) for all my pictures and bring them into Photoshop to size down, color correct and touch up before posting. The maximum pictures per post was set to 3 but I just bumped it up to 5.

I noticed that on the other forums that discuss Tenyo there is rarely a picture posted where on this forum it is pretty common to have a picture enhance a post. I think that is because it is easy to add pictures here.

The recent pictures by Siusiuc and Victor have been fun to see. Thank you.

I have created this page on the sister website to try and bridge the gap between English speaking and Japanese speaking Tenyophiles. Hopefully it will work.

Maybe it is possible to fix the clock. I think there was a thread at the Magic café about how to repair a non-working one.

I think that opening magic shop in Amsterdam would be a great business opportunity in the future....I surely get already my 1st major customer : Rob Rand :D

Another nice pictures of you Siusiuc. Thanks for sharing this. By the way, it is very uncommon for me especially that there are lady/ies who are really interested in magic like you. Even as a Tenyo collector. Nice to know you ;)

Yes I know that there are very few female magicians out there, are there any tenyo female lover out there?
I would love to know them!:D

All my friends really like to watch magic but not as the magician so sometimes it gets a bit lonely!
Applause to some of my friends who have the patience to seek tenyo with me

There is a lady on the Magic Cafe with the User Name of Julie that sometimes gets involved in discussions in the Tenyo section. There is also Hitomi who sells the Japanese Tenyo as Magico-Japan on ebay. Hopefully we will sometime soon get one or both of them here.
