I'm currently in Hong Kong!
Just found eddys magic and thought you guys would be interested in seeing these tenyo magic that's are distributed by eddy!
I have opened bird watcher and incredibly it is identical to the tenyo ones and even have the tenyo logo printed at the bottom!

Wow, what a find Shan! Thanks for sharing I didn't even know these were still being made! And yes, from my understanding some of these items were produced by Tenyo.

I`m curious how big is the price difference between eddy`s and original Tenyo ? Of course it is not comparable with the old discontinue Tenyos which already reach the higher price. But still most of the items are still available at Japan and it is quite affordable to buy especially at Japan.

And looking at the quality, we can forget eddy`s, but not sure for some good one like bird watcher you share on above thread. Maybe good for the first try because it is already discontinue item but not so good to for a serious collector.

Hey victor, I looked up a thread on themagiccafe and indeed some knockoffs were mixed with eddys magic, but it also says that eddys a big big distributor for tenyo or use to be. So their products should actually be genuine tenyo but packaging is different for the Chinese market? Correct me if I'm wrong though:)
And from what I see(only birdwatchers) it looks like a genuine tenyo to me with all the markings, even the back of the box has a tenyo logo on it. I will have to check on the other ones but I only have birdwatchers now

I bought a few years ago Mini Morphosis with package of Eddy's Magic, and it was 100% genuine Tenyo! I believe it was a seller from Hong Kong!

Genuine Tenyo in Eddy's....hmmm this is interesting and this is new for me. Thanks again for sharing.

I believe I might have mistaken. I have finally gotten around to open the eddys magic!
Believe it or not, even though dragon altar, vision vault, clean cut, birdwatcher, only bird watcher and dragon altar were genuine tenyos. I find it weird how some are and some aren't, vision vault and clean it both have an Eddys logo instead of a tenyos. I guess some got mixed in. See picture for details
Another interesting fact is the instructions were genuine Tenyo instructions where as eddy ones felt different and probably photocopied

The rope on the Clean Cut does not look as good. It looks like the cheaper rope that was used by Milton Bradley for the Magic Works version of the trick

Yes john, the rope is extremely poorly made. The whole rope is easily shattered and some of the ends gets caught on the side when you slide the panel:(
I bought clean cut and vault vision because they were part of the tenyos that I still have not yet bought.
