I am most certain that many of you are more well versed in the ephemera than am I. However please indulge the possibly over enthusiastic musings of a newbie.....
In 1977 the Tenkai prize for creative magic was awarded to Shigeru Sugawara for his creative contributions to magic in Japan. As part of the prize, a compendium of his works was gathered and released in book form.
This truly is a book worth obtaining if you are a Tenyo collector. Evidence of its and his utter genius can be discerned from the fact that within its covers, Tenyo chose to produce and release at least six of the effects in its company. As well, many of these effects have been translated into english and were made available when Genii magazine had its Tenyo issue back in the 80's, and with the release of Tenyoism....

1) Flower Wand (marketed by Tenyo, Sugawara's first Tenyo effect I believe)
2) One Handed Vanishing Candle To Silk
3) Color Changing Bead On Wire (can be found in Tenyoism)
4) Rising Card Case
5) Up Down Tube
6) 1-2-3 Tubes
7) Paddle Effect (toothpick in paddle jumps from bottom to middle hole)
8) Water Mystery (part 1)
9) Water Mystery (part 2)
10) Night Passage (found in Tenyoism and Genii)
11) Great Rubber Band Mystery (found in Tenyoism and Genii)
12) Rubber Band Pentration (off finger and pen)
13) Color Cup Penetration
14) Silk Through Wand (Tenyoism)
