I recently bought this one and it is super cool. The nice thing about it is that the spectator can actually push the ring down into the block and pull the ring out threaded. I had no idea how it worked until I bought it.

Is it the 'new' version? I have read the newer version is a bit subborn in its operation sometimes.

Ha! I have Terri Roger's book (as e-book, for sale at lybrary.com, called Top Secrets) with an exact description of this great trick! And I'm planning to make it myself... Maybe this is also something for SimonC ?
