Conundrum like Tenyo's Ghost Puzzle
There is a pre-sale at Stevens Magic, Conundrum. This looks exactly like Tenyo's Ghost Puzzle, but it seems to be a square puzzle. Other handling, with an extra 5th piece instead of the missing ghost.

All in all, this is nothing new!
The ad says this is the first wooden version of it. That's not true! SimonC made the first wooden version!

Thanks for the plug rob there's a few similar ones out there, I like calibron 12, you have to fit all the blocks in, more tricky than impossible, and the impossible square which is a nice take on the 'extra block' principle. Guess what my family's getting for Xmas this year now my laser cutters working again

Re: Conundrum like Tenyo's Ghost Puzzle
The principle of this trick is explained in Martin Gardner’s book, Mathematics, Magic, and Mysteries. When I was a teenager I read in a magic catalog about a similar trick where the head of George Washington disappears from a dollar bill. I made up my own version using Philippine currency but have lost it due to passage of time.
Here improved version of this trick.
Here is how it’s done.
Here is a video showing a primitive solution to the trick.

New puzzle from Jenzo Inc.
Hi all I've just finished drawing up this take on the impossible puzzle...
It gives it a fun twist, wherever you can fit the extra square will tell you where the treasure is buried!
I can customise the "Captain" name and also make them without the map and writing for purists

Simon can you do the ramp cutting with you laser cutter that is illustrated in the second video BobD shared?

Not with a laser but I can cut any angle on my table saw. I saw that clip too, got the cogs turningJohnM wrote:Simon can you do the ramp cutting with you laser cutter that is illustrated in the second video BobD shared?
With the one I posted, you need to reassemble the puzzle but including the red 'X' piece ( it is possible!)
