Most likely, yes. At least to people in here, should anyone want it.
I am also interested in your version, curious which design you come up with :)

Question => Is it absolutely necessary to use a rubber band for the trick :?:

No, not a rubber band. It's a narrow silk/satin ribbon.

Somehow, i had "rubber band" instead of "silk ribbon" in my brain
In one video the silk ribbon seems to be open at the ends,
in the other a closed loop, does both work ?

After some research I now know how it works ⭐️
Is an ingenious and extraordinary principle 👍
But I do not know if it was improved later ...

I just had an idea if it is not better to make a slit instead of the round hole
for the narrow silk ribbon ... In my opinion this could work even better ... As a
wood version this might be more difficult to realize than with a printed version

When your version is perfected - would it be available to others ?
Most likely, yes. At least to people in here, should anyone want it.

Doing it that way is actually more difficult, I think. Imagining why is probably not so easy without a prototype/model in hand.

Well, you could be right, today I did a little tinkering and built a small styropor version.
The principle works with my little styropor version unfortunately only halfway, but the ring
has passed the silk band ... One procedure has not yet become clear to me but it might only
work with the original round version, with my rectangular version it does not work completely

I’ve also tried to make a Lego version with a square gap instead of a round one, and it didn’t work at all! :)

I've had a temporary drop in motivation lately, so I haven't really gotten any further on this. I will pick it up again at some point, though.

Seen this bio of Terri Rogers maker of Blockbuster and a ton of other effects. Never knew any of this before as I never checked.
