Re: Whamboozled
Interesting! This one intrigues me. I first thought this one is similar to Marvin's Magic The Energised Coin but after reading your discription a few times I think i'm wrong
Does it require sleight of hand or is it basically self working?

Re: Whamboozled
It is self working as to the coin appearing but sleight of hand to dispose of coin on disk (finger palm). The
gimmick will hold 2 coins or rings separately

Re: Whamboozled
Thanks for the info Pete. Do you own Marvin's Magic Energised Coin? I think it would be possible to make up a routine with your older trick
Here's a demo (in French but that's not a problem because you only need to see it actually, and if you want me to translate something just le me know ) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UV4iFc3wS10
By the way, that is the NEW version of Energized Coin, there was a version before that which used a large UK coin (50 p to be exact) in stead of a poker chip, and actually that previous version was a bit more devious because there was an 'extra' feature ... . Here's a clip, however you can't see the whole routine with the 'extra' feature: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzVVDsCgGi8
By the way Rob, is that a magic trick or some novelty item? Good for a laugh for sure

No magic trick David, an art piece, of the playful kind. I have it for ages.

Re: Whamboozled
By the way David, on the first video you see clearly that he palms a second coin, that's a bit sloppy. He puts that coin under the chip.
The tray , I have it, it's a great prop to let that coin suddenly pop up.
Great idea for Pete to show a rare gem every week, love your treasures Pete!
