Mark Setteducati - The Magic Show Book

Post by RonP » Sun Jul 26, 2015 6:11 pm

This is a great magic book, you can see Roberto perform some of the tricks in it on youtube. This one is in great condition, unfortunately, and I bought it used, it came with missing the moveable pieces of one trick. Everything else is complete and in perfect working order. Anyone interested for 20$ plus shipping? These are no more made. Thanks.

Without all the pieces? That's a pity. The book is a work of brilliance.

Withou the pieces for ONE trick Jimmy. Vic has kindly offered to make copies of those pieces and I will print them out and glue them together. :)

Question. What does the book have or what is it about?

I apologize for the rookie question. I just know that he was a huge force in Milton Bradley's 'Magic Works'. And does it talk about Magic Works as well?

and also the link to Amazon.

It is not like a normal magic book that you read and learn but the book will do the magic for you. The book itself acts as the magician and you are the spectator. It will do approx.15 minutes Magic Show from close up, mentalism even the illusion in front of you. Every page will bring you smile. I bet on my wallet that you and your daughter will fall in love with it :) Highly recommended ! Buy it if you find it !

I was very lucky to pick up a copy on eBay for about 5 quid. When I got it I went through the the book and on more than one occasion exhaled sharply as i had been fooled BY A BOOK! a couple of the tricks are real doozies and the book itself is really nicely made. I teach graphics and in one of our projects is for the class to make a pop up book so it was a perfect opportunity to bring a bit of magic to the classroom :) if you can find one its worth investing.
Now you see me...

Just to add something Brett. If you can find it BNIP, still wrapped in plastic packaging and with fair price, that would be perfect. If you get it "opened" ensure that all pieces are complete. Hopefully the seller know about the content in book. Just to avoid same thing happen like Ron`s

Good luck,
Vic

I managed to get a new one ( they said it was new) for $4 a few months ago.
I see it on one of Roberto's videos and had to have it.
The trick below and the last trick in the book are unbelievable.

They come up quite often on eBay.
You can pick them dirt cheap if your patient....$30 is the most you should give for a complete one.

Got my book in today!

It is complete with all the bits and pieces (even the extras) woohoo!

Can I just say... HOLY COW...

This book amazes me. Of course I'm familiar with some of the principles, but the ones I'm familiar with it is probably the best use of the principle I've seen.

Then there are a few that I just have absolutely no clue whatsoever... Seriously one of the best purchases I've made in a while. I will cherish this book for many years.

The trick at the end of the book caught me out big time but every trick in that book is fantastic, the Zig Zag lady on its own makes the book Special.
