Thanks for sharing that Olaf!

So, here are my thoughts on it...

1- He exposed the method the first time he did it. What a shame!
2- He took way too long to do the entire performance. Yawn...
3- Paddle changes interesting addition to the effect.
4- Politically motivated which is both clever and humorous and a dangerous place to go. Depends on who is watching.

I still like his Huiiuftiidsfhkkute better! :D

I understand your concerns regarding the quality/material of the (newer) props made by Thomas Pohle. Compared to items made from solid wood or stable plastics you might get the impression that you have to handle them with some care. And Olaf is right, I also don't like the design of his "Learning ABC" (Deluxe Block Monte) that much - but bought it anyway because I like the different methods involved. Another concern with Thomas Pohle's items is that they are hard to find. He offers no newsletter or something and up to now, I didn't find a magic store that regularly offers his newest products.

Ralf, Thomas Pohle sells his items via Joe Long. Just mail Joe and ask to add you on his mailing list...
His email is:

I also liked the trick itself, because it's very varied, but because of the design I couldn't get myself to invest in it. Maybe at a later date. It is true, his tricks are not often found and he also does not produce very many, perhaps so in the area 20-30 pieces. The crazy thing for me and with him is, he sits in Germany and I also, but if I like something from him, I have to order it from the USA for imense additional costs, that is hard to understand and to digest !

Thank you Rob . Yes, I have already discovered them and I found also some of his products at Itsmagic-Zaubershop: https://www.itsmagic-zaubershop.de/navi.php?qs=pohle (where I got the Learning ABC trick from). I recently asked Joe Long for adding me to his mailing list but he didn't answer. Maybe I was a bit too short in my email so I wrote him again - with a more detailed explanation of my wish
