Re: I Need Some Help From You Guys And Girl :)
how cool! good luck with getting started.
are there any paddle effects on the list? there's a really strong king prediction effect. you have four kings in a small packet and state that you know which one your spectator will choose. whichever one they say is face down among the other face up 3 AND is a different colour back. simple but I never leave the house without it. something like the tenyo scale trick with the cats (thanks john b for introducing me to that little beauty) think-a-drink (obviously )
dynamic coins
brass penetration block
there's a good seller on eBay called cybercraig36 he has some great classics, and a lot from uday.
pen thru bill
lubors lens
vanishing card case
ultracinese (unscrew a nut and bolt with you mind!)
and don't forget your thumb tips!
I'll stop now
exciting stuff
good luck!

At di fatta magic there is no minimum order, but they have a fixed shipping rate of around 120-150 euros. And your first purchase should be a big one.
At Murphy's you have to order at least 500 dollars a month, every month. Shipping is usually around 130-160 dollars.

Yes, good quality, nice packaging and English instructions. Of course by good quality I do not mean excellent quality like Tenyo, but OK quality like most magic products. Most of them are usual magic items, they carry lot of Tenyo rip-offs as well: Zig-zag zig, Coin nest, Clean cut etc.
http://www.difattamagic.com/index.php?p ... at=CLO-COM
Their advantage is that they are located in Italy, so you do not have to pay any import tax. But they only post with UPS which is quite expensive if you want to order only a few things. They have quantity discounts. You should contact them to get a dealer login to see the prices. You can tell them if you like that I have recommended them for you from the Figaro Magic shop.

I have a copy zigzag cig, it's an exact replica in terms of size colour and pattern but certainly doesn't 'feel' like a tenyo, does the original have a nice weight to it? I'll take a pic of mine later
Now you see me...
Re: I Need Some Help From You Guys And Girl :)
I had a replica of Zig Zag Cig for years.
I got it before I even knew what Tenyo was.
When I finally got the Tenyo one you could fell the difference when you slide it opened and closed.
The replica was wobbly and did not line up well. The Tenyo is snug and lines up perfect. Quite a difference in quality.

Re: I Need Some Help From You Guys And Girl :)
I applaud your idea Per Aage! Most of the litle tricks have already been mentioned. Perhaps when you buy from Difatta you can also sell the Difatta Squeeze Away Block - Roberto made a nice video of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FkTqbxKa2Fc
I bought mine from a local magic shop a year or two ago and it was 50 EURO, so perhaps this is a bit out of the range of tricks you have in mind. Nonetheless there are few shops that sell it (mine had to order it directly from Difatta for me) but it's a good trick for starting magicians

Re: I Need Some Help From You Guys And Girl :)
I thought so, this one feels a little light and scratchy. There's just one in eBay ending today for £10 and I can't decide between that and cutting edge (also £10). I know that sometimes the phonies can be just as good as the real thing, my mum bought a fake Louis Vuitton handbag and showed me and I remember saying how crappy the material felt and that it was clearly a low quality fake. Then I had to make a chandelier out of the same handbag (about 120 in all @ £750 a piece) for Selfridges in London as part of their window display. I couldn't believe the real ones were no better, and the fake was a perfect replica! I just found a pic of the chandelier on google, it was a crazy job, there were enough handbags to put the deposit on a house. Scary stuff. (I didn't make it on my own btw!)JohnM wrote:I had a replica of Zig Zag Cig for years.

Re: I Need Some Help From You Guys And Girl :)
I think all of the specialness of Zig Zag Cig has been washed away by all the replicas. When it came out it was super special. Now it is an after thought. I do not think you will like Cutting Edge. More like an optical illusion than a magic trick. Do you have Oh No! I think you and your students will like that.SimonC wrote: There's just one in eBay ending today for £10 and I can't decide between that and cutting edge (also £10).

OMG what a cool project. You should go to Beverly Hills, California and do this for people in their houses.
Re: I Need Some Help From You Guys And Girl :)
it was certainly fun to do, there's some crazy sh!t in my portfolio, some of which I hope my students never uncover
I have oh no, it's not one I've used much but I have showed some of my kids, normally as a starter to a lesson on safely using bandsaws (the other one involves a bucket of chicken wings)
I've got an idea of cutting edge, and I know the main secret to it. it does appeal to the more quirky parts of my collection. I agree I think ZZC got a little diluted, it is a wicked trick tho. still unsure, I have 2hrs to decide, it may come down to a coin toss

Re: I Need Some Help From You Guys And Girl :)
I don't like Cutting Edge, it's so incredible angle sensitive ... . Zig Zag Cig should have some great routines in Kaufman's book.
However Cutting Edge will become harder to find and the price is good, where Zig Zag Cig will be available in one form or another for years to come.

Zig zag cig £10
Cutting edge £10

Eclipse £15
Impossible pen £15

Some bargains there, none BNIP but all with original packages.
