that's a very swish vanish, but that's a lid if crash dice proportions, you could hide a horse in there ;)
slick effect though.
speaking of crash dice, I don't own the tenyo version, does it have any special features compared to other versions of the same trick?
Now you see me...

Probably more like an upside down Merlin's Coffer.

The Tenyo version of Crash Dice comes with a large translucent red die and eight mini dice so you can do a color change or an explosion. The shell die from either Dr. Sawa's Rabbit Company or S.S. Adams uses a sheet of metal bent to a 5 sided cube. The color and dots are painted on and you can see gaps on the edges. The Tenyo shell is moulded in plastic so it has a more realistic shape and recessed dots and of corse no gaps.

This would be a perfect one for Mystic Ruby. He would get a kick out of doing it himself which he will be able to.

The Tenyo version also has one other extra feature. Basically the gimmick which is built into the lid in other versions is easily removable in the Tenyo version. This allows everything to be easily handed out for examination in the end.

In the book, THE ESSENTIAL SOL STONE, which is mostly coin magic, you'll find a similar routine, but with 3 penetrations. It's called "The Jarred Coin" on pages 79-82. It's followed by a 1 phase penetration called "The Baby Jarred Coin."

Enjoy!
