Re: Pocket tricks
Oddball is a good one, is the second one with the die the same principle/effect?
What I don't like with oddball is you have to set it in advance if I'm correct.

Re: Pocket tricks
No the die is gaffed but you get another die although i think it will work with the other die if you used 2 thin lengths of string

Re: Pocket tricks
The 2nd trick with the die and the flat rope looks interesting, what is the effect Pete?
Re: Pocket tricks
cord thru frame and die,2 spectators hold ends of cord, performer covers frame and die with silk removes die
and shows die is complete with hole through it,you get 2 die

Re: Pocket tricks
Thanks Pete.
For those interested in an odd-ball like routine where the cord with beads is threaded onto the beads in advance, there is NANA'S NECKLACE by Dean Dill available. I own it and while it does require a litle bit (not that much!) of practice it is a great effect.

Re: Pocket tricks
Yes I see how it's done (a bit fumbling in the middle of the rope ) But it's a good performance.
