Dr. Nim

Post by MadisonPresents » Sun Oct 30, 2016 8:52 pm

Anyone familiar with this?

https://www.youtube.com/shared?ci=_z6jlPqrCSs

It's a game you play against the board itself and you will always lose. It's based on the simple mathematical game of nim but it is so clever and almost magical.

I can't find a place to buy one online. But perhaps it's something some of these genius members here could make...

Thought I would share!

It's old. Think I remember it as a child, in the 1960s perhaps.

If enough people are interested I could possibly make a smaller wooden version. (About the size of an iPad)
I'd need to research it a bit first to see if it's possible
Now you see me...

I'd be up for one. I had this when I was a kid. Surprisingly addictive.

I'd LOVE one Simon. I think this is one of the neatest things I've seen. So magical in its operation despite the simplicity.
