This kid explains how to do it in detail slowly.
It is still fun to watch at a moderate speed.

It definitely looks cool to do! I believe you need special cups with a hole in the bottom.

Never heard of it before BTW ...

Yup it does look cool and bet it is easier to do than you might think with the special cups. Yes they have that hole so they don't have a vacuum when lifting quickly and someplace for the air inside to go when slamming them back down on other cups. Plus they have to have the proper weight and size so you can compete with record times. Cheapest set is $19.99 up to the ultimate set for $59.99. Give a set to a kid they will go into their room to never to come out they will be hooked on stacking these things all day and night trying to beat their best time. :D

Lemme get this right ...

1 cup here, 1 cup there, I guess I fought em, this cup on the top, another on the bottom,
1 in the middle, and one on the side, 1 more on the end, and one I need to hide.

I seem to be getting the "hang" of the speed tricks,
I'm having big fun, but I just can't wait to turn six.

Stacking cups goes like this:
C
U
P
S
and now, on with the show ...

Then there is the youngest cup masters.

Notice the 2 yr old most the time is not even looking at what he is doing it is just automatic movements. This is a great gift to give a kid, It improves eye hand coordination, memory, sequence of steps in a routine, goal setting to improve speed and accuracy, and they learn that practice makes perfect. :)

I think I will get a set to play with if I find my attempts are like the 80 yr old I can give it to some kid that will be sure to have fun with them.
