The German title is called "Die Diamantenkugel" and I have been fascinated by this trick for a long time and would like to find an alternative version, because this one made by Thomas Pohle is not available. Does anyone know this trick or an alternative? I would be very grateful for further hints.

Looks like a nice trick, although perhaps a tiny bit boring, at least without any presentation. I can guess at how it works, but I may have missed something, as it looks perhaps a bit obvious?

Making a version using 3D-printing is most likely possible, I'd say.

I like it a bit slower, that makes a lot more impression with certain tricks because the viewer has time and thinks he could discover something, which he unfortunately doesn't do. I agree that this routine is a bit too long but I still like it. I also think that I have a solution but years ago I had no solution at all ... It's certainly not a challenge for a printer ... but in wood I find this design more pleasing and also because of possible noises. I never encountered this trick again anywhere else which I can hardly understand.

Well, it is perhaps more advanced than what I think it is, then.

That was my idea of how it works, too ;-) but with these boxes it does not look good,
are too big, not cube-shaped and without any flair - i find in this three box combination
the attention is not so much fixed on the boxes and that's why it's such a strong performance
Of course, these props are a basic trick but they are still very effective :-) i still love this one ...
