For me such artists are unattainable, absolutely fascinating !
Everything very loose and fluid with successful transitions
I envy all who have such supple hands and dexterity

Yes I agree everything transcends right to the next effect perfectly. His patter and jokes make this a joy to watch. I have watched it several times and like it more each time. I could watch this guy all day long. Glad someone else appreciated this video as much as I do. I thought more would have had something to say about it. ;)

Amazing! So entertaining! And it's a mini compendium of all known tricks!

And what a great guy he is!

So cool!

I remember the advice I was given may years ago:
"People would rather be entertained than educated."

Johnny is an incredible talent, and has probably been honored by the Academy of Magical Arts more times than any other performer. The link above is essentially the same show he recently performed at the Magic Castle close up room. I was there with four other adults who were reduced to babbling incoherence by Johnny's magic. When I recently got engaged, he is the only performer I reached to that did not bother responding. But I don't feel bad, he's too damn good and charges appropriately!

Check out this video of him from nearly 40 years ago. Way more impressive afro, same cheese-ball sense of humor https://www.magicana.com/video/johnny-a ... card-magic

Very fascinating to see him at such a young age, with all the elements already included, his fun, playing with little toy animals, entertaining his audience in the first place, and what an enormous afro look! :)

Thanks Ron for sharing!
