Shapeways - make your own magic trick with a 3D printer

Post by David DeTenyo » Fri Oct 18, 2013 2:00 am

The title sais it all. I posted an article on my website about Shapeways, a company that started to produce small 3D-prints in different materials for model building.

I thought it would be very interesting to use for people like Rob, John or Simon who create magic effects :)

Yes this is a great step forwards, design your own 3D-product and send it to them and it rolls out of the 3D printer!

But for now, I believe I have more pleasure in making things from wood the old fashioned way. And... the printer cannot make things out of wood.
