The Double Bass player can't wait to join- unfortunately, he is waiting on me to assemble him!

The accordion player is on route and will be next after the bass player!

Hi John,

Just stop by at this topic and remind me to an interesting website :

http://cp.c-ij.com/en/contents/2023/list_45_1.html

Some of the automata toys could be built from paper. You can download all the PDF pattern for free but all you have to pay is the color printing cost. That`s the way canon do the business :) I enjoy the website very much. Hope you too.

Regards,
Victor

I finally got around to building the Double Bass player. There were a lot of mechanics tucked away inside the Bass, so I took a few photos during the build.

I still have a few models waiting to be built, but saw this and wanted to share:

Timberkits have released a magician automaton! I am definitely looking forward to getting this one and getting it working!

I was able to find this small gif of the Magician automata. There appears to be I believe four magic changes that occur. Here's the gif

this is a lovely kit. looking at his 'reveals' (frog/Apple/rabbit) if anyone has this set I could very easily remake that part to reveal anything you want, like a specific force card etc on my laser. I may buy myself a lot just so I can do it :)
