Awh thanks everyone.

I do paint once in a while, but this image is a combination of Photography, and Photoshop. I have been into Photoshop since 1990. (pretty much the beginning) I have been a Photoshop instructor, a beta tester, and a perpetual student of this awesome software.

I am a big fan of surreal Art, so it's probably no wonder that my images lean towards that genre. I also like fractals, fun, and foolishness. Did I mention Music?

I have always perceived music, and imagery as "tension-resolution management."

I have know Ben, Matt, Dave, and Julianne, for a very long time.

What an absolute  *hoot* to see their reactions to going back to Photoshop 1. I was there once, and had forgotten how far Photoshop has come. I used to have to use CALCULATIONS to do a "drop shadow" - It only took a few minutes. Now we click on "Drop Shadow" in FX, and it appears "live" in real time. Layers appeared in version 3.

Thank for that awesome link ...

Great piece of art Bob! Would be great to have 52 different pics and printed on a rainbow deck or maybe printed on postcard for some mental routines. Great work... thanks for sharing Bob !

That was a great video Simon. I think I started at Photoshop 2.0 in the early 90's.

The sick part was I was creating high end graphics for print and video for the advertising agency I worked for at the time. It was a challenge. No Layers, No History Palette, No Layer Mask, Limited Selection Tools, etc.

ALSO

Really big files with really small (in comparison to today) storage spaces. We would back stuff up and send files out for printing using 44meg Syquest Cartridges. At that time a 1 gig hard drive was high end and it costs $1,000. A color Mac at that time cost between $6,000 and $10,000 dollars. Apples first flat screen monitor that came out in 2000 was 21" and cost $4,000 of course I had one. Boy things have changed.
